The perception that it is possible to eat well and cheaply in Seville is not inaccurate. In Seville, there is no shortage of restaurants or the possibility of ending a gastronomic experience with a more than acceptable bill.
However, the number of bars and restaurants per square meter can make it difficult to find a place that combines good prices with quality.
Seville has no shortage of either, so this compilation is not intended to be definitive. These are my personal favorites for paying the right price, getting good portions, and enjoying flavors that complete your day with a gastronomic smile.
Summer starters, essential tapas, and mouthwatering montaditos. We believe that being a foodie should also go hand in hand with the essentials and not just the exclusive, and these nine places prove that it is possible to combine exquisiteness with affordability.
Bodeguita Romero: good, attractive, inexpensive in the center of Seville

Bodeguita Romero is one of the most popular places in the vicinity of the Cathedral. Its iconic corner location and picturesque terrace whet anyone’s appetite as they watch the tapas parade by non-stop.
These bites designed for sharing don’t usually exceed €3, and you can go crazy browsing the menu of fried foods, cold cuts, meats, or cold tapas. The pleasure of going crazy with indecision. One last note: don’t leave without trying their pringá.

Las Golondrinas needs no introduction. It is an authentic Triana establishment that has become a local favorite, preserving its characteristic atmosphere and succulent dishes. One of its most popular tapas is its famous mushrooms with aioli.
Its two always-busy locations are a testament to the quality and affordable prices offered here. It’s hard to imagine a better place in Seville to eat traditional dishes at a good price.
Bodeguita Antonio Romero

La Bodeguita Antonio Romero could be counted in the dozens and there still wouldn’t be enough places to cater to Sevillians and visitors alike. In reality, there are three places in the city that are clearly among the best bars in Seville for eating cheaply without sacrificing quality tapas.
Their montaditos (small sandwiches) precede them (the pringá or piripi are essential) and cost less than €3, although their pork cheeks, croquettes, and daily stews are also worth mentioning.
Bar Moraleja

Whether it’s a central location like the one they opened in Nervión, Bar Moraleja is one of the best options for eating cheaply in Seville.
Fortunately, both establishments offer promising tapas that showcase timeless local customs.
Their Cadiz brioche; the tortillas or the now iconic fried pork rinds with PX and lime in their second venture.
Bar Alfalfa

When thinking of places to eat cheaply in Seville with high quality standards, we must mention this iconic neighborhood bar of the same name: La Alfalfa. A culinary gem that continues to attract locals and visitors alike. Its corner location is emblematic, as are its coveted tapas and cheeses.
A relaxed atmosphere combined with good food at unbeatable prices are the cornerstones of this place. And the prices of their dishes do not exceed 5 euros.
Casa Manolo
Also in the heart of La Alfalfa, but with a nice terrace to relax on, Casa Manolo is another great option.
In this case, the stew of the day costs less than €5, and they offer other noteworthy dishes such as sirloinsteak with whiskey, Sevillian marinade, and fried cuttlefish.
Bodega Santa Cruz – Las Columnas

In these times, few virtues are valued more in Seville than eating at a good price in authentic places with character and a purely Sevillian spirit.
This lively wine cellar offers everything you would expect from a city like Seville: exquisite tapas, cold beer, orders written down carefully in chalk, and Sevillian charm in every corner.

Seville cannot be understood without its bars, and its bars cannot be understood without that golden snack that drives locals and foreigners crazy. Tapas comprise a large number of dishes, but they all share one peculiarity: they are best enjoyed with a soft drink, wine, or beer. Following this logic, and specializing in a single food, Lágrimas de Sevilla was born , the chicken tear bar that serves them from €1.
Crispy strips, marinated and fried to perfection, are the star attraction on the menu, where they offer a bottle of beer with a tapa for just one euro.
The flower of my vineyard
Just a few steps from Plaza Nueva, La Flor de mi Viña has almost 60 years of history offering classic recipes. Along with its popular breakfasts, montaditos, fried foods, dressings, salad, and a special mention for the house stews.
Small plates around 4 euros and meals that may not exceed 10 euros per person.

A set menu in Andalusia costs, on average, €13.40, according to a report by Hostelería de España in collaboration with Edenred. The study reveals that this format, which used to be offered by so many restaurants at affordable prices, has now increased by 1.5% nationwide, reaching an average cost of €14.20. In Seville, however, there are still places that offer set menus at reasonable prices.
This is the case of Asador Las Marismas, which offers one of the cheapest daily menus in the country, for only €8, with a choice of first and second courses, a drink, and dessert or coffee.

Tu tortilla was the first place where customers could create their own potato omelet.
Diners can choose the size (there are up to three different diameters), the base (potato or sweet potato), the type of meat, a maximum of two vegetables to add to their tortilla, and a sauce. All this from €4.50.
La Taberna del Porvenir
Given that almost all tapas cost less than €3, there’s little that can go wrong. Well, except for the food not being good, of course.
But this is not the case at Taberna del Porvenir, which has been serving a wide variety of delicious tapas at reasonable prices for years, so that treating ourselves doesn’t have to cost more than ten euros. Among its star dishes is the pork tenderloin alla carbonara.
Petra

At this establishment, you can enjoy one of the best potato omelets served in the capital of Seville. Here, they prepare it with caramelized onions and aioli, and the dish costs less than 12 euros.
What’s more, their variety of tapas and portions will delight anyone and are perfect options for sharing flavors without breaking the bank.
El rincón del tito
El Rincón del Tito has an excellent location next to Las Setas and the city center, but it is also tucked away in a charming little corner with a large terrace. Among its virtues are the price of its dishes, but especially their quality.
They offer a variety of fried fish, but their menu also includes irresistible dishes such as whiskey sirloin, croquettes, and mussels with béchamel sauce. And their hearty breakfasts deserve no less attention.
Freiduría Puerta de la Carne

One of the best friedfish in Seville is still being prepared at this classic restaurant in Puerta de la Carne. How much does the fried food cost?
Cod pavías, for example, are sold for €2 each, and the rest of the dishes start at €4 and are priced by weight.
Our favorites are the adobo, the anchovies, and the cuttlefish. You can eat it on the spot or take it home in a takeaway container.
Bar Cibeles 2
Another culinary landmark that will leave you so full that you’ll want to head straight for a well-deserved siesta is Bar Cibeles 2. Its generous sandwiches cost less than €7, and the menu offers diners all the options they could wish for at more than reasonable prices.
By the way, its serranito sandwich continues to enjoy great popularity among Sevillians, and with good reason.
Bodega Dos de Mayo

Our mouths (and stomachs) water when we talk about this place located between Alameda and La Campana. Plaza de la Gavidia is home to the Dos de Mayo wine cellar, with its large terrace and justified waiting lists. Here you can try traditional food of exquisite quality, but also unique dishes that give this restaurant its distinctive character.
Best of all, you can eat your fill and pay very little. The whiskey sirloin is one of our favorites in Seville, and their potato omelet is not far behind.
La Gorda feeds you
You won’t find anywhere else in Seville where you can eat so well for such extraordinarily low prices. La Gorda’s menu is as extensive as it is acceptable, with tasty and varied dishes in different locations around the city. And the best news: the tapas will cost you 3, 4, or 5 euros at most.
As you might expect, finding a seat on the weekend can be quite a challenge. Some of its iconic tapas are patatas bravas, macaroni with mushroom sauce, and Russian steak with almond sauce.
La choza de Manuela

La choza de Manuela serves generous portions and is one of the best places in Seville, and indeed in the whole country, where eating cheaply is a reality.
This iconic roadside bar has been awarded a Repsol Solete and offers an extensive menu that places great importance on grilled dishes. It is one of the best Sunday plans for those who love lavish feasts.
Patio de San Eloy

Why is it that Patio de San Eloy wins over so many diners? Possibly because of the relaxed atmosphere in all the establishments in the city and the prices of their tapas and montaditos.
A classic that never fails if you are looking for cheap food in Seville and which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in style in 2022.
