1. Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla: free for EU members
That it does not enjoy the popularity or attendance it deserves does not mean that the Museum of Fine Arts of Seville is not one of the most important art galleries in the country. The former Convent of La Merced Calzada houses this cultural center that includes sculptures, ceramics and a large number of paintings of the stature of Murillo, Valdés Leal, Zurbarán and Velázquez.
During summer hours (from August 1) it opens its doors from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 🕒 Time:. Until July 31 you can visit this space from Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm; Sundays and holidays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

2. Andalusian Center of Contemporary Art
The Monasterio de la Cartuja de Santa María de las Cuevas houses this well-known museum of important patrimonial wealth. The CAAC is located on Isla de la Cartuja, in the vicinity of the Torre Pelli Shopping Center and often celebrates art beyond its collection and temporary exhibitions.

3. Archive of the Indies
This building houses some eighty million pages, including maps, drawings and other documents from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century. The Archive of the Indies is one of the great attractions of the city, along with the Cathedral the Royal Alcazar or its innumerable palaces.
This particular visit is a gem for history buffs that you can tour completely free of charge (including temporary exhibits). A journey through time whose opening hours to the public are Monday to Thursday, from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm; Friday (and also during summer hours) until 2:30 pm. 4. Ceramics Center of Triana
The Triana Ceramics Center began its journey as a center for reception, interpretation and structuring of the visit to the Triana neighborhood in 2014. Since then, it has sought to highlight the pottery tradition of the popular Sevillian neighborhood as well as its spatial, ethnological and anthropological value.
It is, without a doubt, a must in the neighborhood, along with its consecrated bars and restaurants and possibly one of the most unusual places in the city..
The good news is that access is free for those born or living in Seville or for those who have purchased a ticket for the Real Alcazar.

5. Museum of Arts and Costumbres Populares
As with the Fine Arts Museum, the Museum of Popular Arts and Costumbres of Seville is free for citizens of the La Unión. The building that houses this center is a work of art in itself, a former pavilion of the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition designed by Aníbal González.
In its interior the reader will find daily pieces between the XVI and XX centuries, costumbristas paintings, fabrics, furniture,… A whole exhibition on the social changes of the time and how it was the rural life and in the city.
It remains closed on Mondays and its regular hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and Sundays and holidays until 3:00 pm.

6. Torre del Oro” Naval Museum
The Torre del Oro, maybe some clueless people don’t know it, works as the Naval Museum of the city. A journey through the maritime history of Seville through its different plants that culminates in a panoramic terrace with views of the city the river and the colorful Betis street.
Although access is free, a voluntary contribution of 3 € is requested. Regarding its opening hours, it is open Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm.

7. Military Historical Museum of Seville
Next to the Plaza de España stands the Military Historical Museum of Seville, which safeguards some of the artifacts, armor, documents and redoubts of the Artillery Mastery. It is closed on Sundays, holidays and the whole month of August, but you can still visit it from Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm and on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

8. Other free museums in Seville
In addition to those mentioned above, there is a catalog of venues that offer free access at certain times of the day. They are the following.
- Charity Hospital. Witness to the passage of time unquestionably linked to the life of Miguel de Mañara has one of the most imposing churches in the city with two great works by Valdés Leal. In this case, it is free on Sundays from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
- The Hospital de los Venerables, in the heart of Santa Cruz, houses the Velázquez Center. You can discover it for free from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Mondays (BIC hours) upon reservation through their website.
- Another piece of good news that the city offers us, at least temporarily, is that the Real Alcázar of Seville can be explored for free on Mondays. Of course, you must reserve your ticket in advance (it usually fills up quickly) and the telematic reservation has an additional cost of 1 €.
