It is very easy to notice the abundance of spaces that Seville has to offer as soon as you walk through its streets. Every year new openings are added to the vademecum of restaurants, cafes and experiences that have consolidated Seville as a reference and this 2024 has not been less.
We explore and select some of the best additions that the city has celebrated in the last 12 months.
1. Leartá
Manu Lachica and Rita Llanes are behind Leartá, possibly the most promising restaurant that has opened its doors in Seville this 2024. A reference to honest and purely Andalusian cuisine, evident in every nook and cranny of this cozy locale.
You will find it in the vicinity of the Plaza de la Gavidia and the tour is condensed in a single tasting menu of 11 passes for 72 €.
2. Breakery with Manu Jara
With quality and excellence always at the core of its elaborations, Manu Jara maintains its commitment to not expand beyond three locations in the city, thus guaranteeing the freshness and flavor that characterize its products.
In May 2024, the pastry chef consolidated his leadership in the Sevillian sweet gastronomic scene with the opening of his space Breakery with Manu Jara in the Hotel Only You Sevilla, next to Santa Justa.
3. Malandro
Malandro landed in Seville with infallible concepts: a meeting point for Sevillians, visual virtues and a versatile cuisine, including traditional tapas and succulent meat and fish dishes.
Sheltered by the Maestranza bullring, in the heart of the Arenal, Malandro brings together an experience of 760 square meters.
Three floors, two kitchens and three different ways of understanding gastronomic leisure.
4. Gluten-free Chök
This spring, a brand new alternative emerged for those who need gluten-free or vegan products when it comes to sweets. Chök announced this new space, a new irresistible pastry venue for everyone. You will find it in Sagasta street, a few meters from El Salvador.
5. Voltereta: a trip to Paris
Voltereta is a whole staging that, it is worth saying, is enjoyed at an affordable price. A trip to Paris by the Valencian hotel group in the vicinity of Nervión.
No detail is missing: a room guarded by dozens of balls in the purest Inside Out style, a handful of establishments that exude that unquestionable French air and even an iconic metro stop have made it one of the most sensational openings of 2024 in Seville.
6 and 7. Selva coffee and Delatribu: new venues
Selva and Delatribu, already consecrated in the Sevillian coffee scene, have celebrated this 2024 a change of premises and a new opening, respectively.
The guys from Selva, in the Triana neighborhood, recently moved a few meters away from their old establishment to a new larger space and Delatribu multiplies and settles now also next to the Plaza de San Francisco.
8. OING
OING’s proposal is as simple as it is honest. A glorious pulled pork recipe (for the clueless, marinated pork, cooked without haste, crumbled and well unctuous) to which toppings and sauces are added, and enclosed in a very accurate artisan bread.
Although, be careful, in Oing all the elaborations are homemade, homemade and tasty so that eating a sandwich is something more than just getting your hands dirty.
9. Anibal Club
If sophisticated, exclusive and surprising are combined in the same concept, the resulting cocktail is, by all means, Anibal Club.
Speakeasy, cocktail bar, private club? Any definition would limit this hidden space in the historic center of the city. Here they serve recipes that you can practically eat and that will stimulate all your senses.
In any case, it is one of the best openings that Seville has received this 2024. Pure cheek, fun and surprise factor on all four sides.
10. Mamma Pottery
The concept of Mama Pottery, which was a success in Madrid, landed in Seville to combine the pleasure of having a cup of coffee or a slice of cake with the delicacy of ceramics and painting.
11. The Fitzgerald Burger
The Fitzgerald Burger, which already has 29 restaurants in Valencia, Madrid, Zaragoza and Murcia, arrived in Seville in the fall of 2024 with the purpose of bringing us its offer of select burgers. Its price ranges between 9 and 15 euros and includes succulent starters, milkshakes and cakes.
11 and 13. Other new specialty coffee shops: East Coffee Crema and Late
Two great openings in Seville are to be celebrated at 1 Santa María de Gracia Street and 36 Amor de Dios Street. East Coffee Crema and Late, located practically on the same street, are ideal options for coffee lovers if you walk between Las Setas and Alameda.
