Next Wednesday, October 28, marks the start of the 2026 edition of the Seville Book Fair (FELISE), the highly anticipated celebration of books and a gathering for readers and authors. More than a hundred activities, book signings, and talks will take place at this significant event, which will run through November 8.
Location and Venues for FELISE 2026
For the third consecutive year, the fair will be held in the idyllic Murillo Gardens.
The event will bring together 55 exhibitors—including bookstores, publishing houses, and institutions—spread throughout the venue.
For the occasion, several multipurpose spaces have been set up to host the more than 100 scheduled activities (workshops, discussions on new releases, and book signings).
The poster, a work by Manuel León

Seville-based painter and visual artist Manuel León Moreno has created the poster for FELISE 2026. The design invites reflection on memory, literature, and Sevillian identity. It does so by depicting the concept of how stories emerge from books as living entities that transform across generations.
In his design, the artist blends elements of local tradition—from traditional imagery to popular folklore—with mythology and the transformative power of reading.
Opening Ceremony and Featured Authors of This Year’s Edition
The official kickoff will take place with the opening address, which this year will be delivered by the popular journalist and broadcaster Roberto Leal.
A lineup of 128 authors
During the 12-day celebration, a distinguished roster of top-tier writers will visit the Jardines de Murillo:
