In recent years the Andalusian capital has become a focus of culture that has made it possible for Sevillians to enjoy both consecrated and brand new cultural activities. Seville is filled with art, avant-garde and innovation in these varied exhibitions that offer a nourishing debate between artists and spectators.
Art and Mercy. The Holy Charity of Seville at the Fine Arts Museum.

The Museum of Fine Arts hosts an exhibition around the pieces of the Hospital de la Santa Caridad and the Church of Señor San Jorge, in connection with its rehabilitation. Thus, and for the first time, brings together masterpieces by Murillo, Valdés Leal, Pedro Roldán and Pedro Duque Cornejo.
The event, produced by the Ministry of Culture and Sport of the Junta de Andalucía in collaboration with the Brotherhood of Santa Caridad, extols the pieces of these artists, making it possible to observe them from a more comfortable perspective than when they are installed in the church. Seventeen museum works that can be enjoyed until June 7, 2026.

2. Temporary exhibitions at the CAAC

For the coming months, the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo de Sevilla integrates in its space different temporary exhibitions of interest. These are the following:
- Louise Bourgeois. La memoria y el deseo, curated by Bosco Gallardo Quiros, can be seen in the refectory of the CAAC and integrates the piece (or Cell) Arco de hysteria until November 16. An installation accessed through imposing steel doors that reflects on violence, the human condition and repressed emotions.
- Kader Attia. The lost paradise compiles in the different rooms of the South Cloister works by the multidisciplinary French artist of Algerian origin. Available until January 18, 2026. The exhibition has been curated by Jimena Blázquez.
- For its part, the south cloister hosts the exhibition Regina de Miguel. Canta una piedra, curated by the CAAC’s own director, which includes cinematographic works and interdisciplinary pieces until January 11.
- The exhibitions by Sandra Poulson, who transforms everyday objects to talk about the socio-cultural, economic and political context of Angola; and the documentary, textile and sound works by Miguel Benlloch will remain at the center until April 5, 2026.
- Finally, you can visit Cachito Vallés.The Eternal Present, which is articulated around time and beauty. Until May 24, 2026.

3. Postcards from other worlds at CaixaFórum
From the giant volcanoes of the Martian surface, to the methane lakes of Titan or the frozen deserts of Europa. Through 3D spaces that recreate some of the most spectacular photographs captured by ESA and NASA space probes, CaixaForum offers a unique journey through the solar system.

4. LUX, at the Royal Artillery Factory
At the end of October LUX Andalusian fashion in the culture of the XXI century was inaugurated at the Real Fábrica de Artillería. The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Seville City Council and curated by Raul Romero.
Until December 8, 2025, visitors will be able to enjoy this free event that brings together the talent of eighteen Andalusian designers whose works are inspired by the identity and cultural diversity of Andalusia.
With a focus on the use of sustainable materials and artisanal techniques, names such as Palomo Spain, Beatriz Peñalver, Inés Domecq, Roberto Diz, Juanma Martín, Leandro Cano or Mans Concept present their pieces.

5. Temporary exhibitions at the Casa de la Ciencia.

The season at Seville’s Casa de la Ciencia includes a couple of temporary exhibitions. Namely: Peru in Antarctica, which testifies the work of Peruvian scientists and sailors both at ECAMP and in the Antarctic Sea through 36 images; and Cerebro(s), a collection of more than 150 pieces around this fascinating organ.
Both exhibitions will be available until November 25, 2025 and June 28, 2026, respectively.

6. Sound familiar with Africa? at the Artes y Costumbres Populares (Arts and Popular Customs)

The Association for Culture and Cooperation with Africa El Gulmi organizes this exhibition that brings together nearly three hundred musical instruments from various ethnic groups and countries of sub-Saharan Africa. A project that helps to understand the importance of music and dance in the daily life of African communities.

7. Photographic exhibitions in other spaces in Seville.

To the well-known cultural spaces, Seville adds many others, from lesser-known foundations to small cafes or entities that enliven life in the city’s neighborhoods and host, from time to time, interesting initiatives. Here are some of them:
- In the vicinity of Las Setas, the Purita cafeteria exhibits Vidas rurales, a series of photographs by Germán Domínguez that portray the daily life, trade and customs of different Colombian communities.
- Throughout the Seville European Film Festival, the CICUS headquarters will host the photographs of Óscar Fernández Arango. The Horizontal Gaze. Mujeres del cine español contemporáneo immortalizes women filmmakers, sound engineers, editors in portraits without artifice.
- Carmen Laffón. Línea de horizonte, a selection of Doñana landscapes at the Fundación Biodiversidad (at the Patio de Banderas until March 19, 2026).
8. 500 years in the heart of the city: from the Royal Audience to the Cajasol Foundation.
A journey through the 500 years of this building that today is the Fundación Cajasol but once had many other functions. Architecture, heritage and a good number of illustrious personalities have left their mark on this space that Aníbal González rebuilt in 1924.
The historian Fernando Olmedo and the gallery owner Carmen Aranguren will curate this exhibition containing engravings, maps, photographs, paintings from various entities.
