In recent years, the Andalusian capital has become a cultural hub, allowing Sevillians to enjoy both established and cutting-edge cultural activities. Seville is filled with art, avant-garde, and innovation in these diverse exhibitions, which foster a rich dialogue between artists and viewers.
We’ve compiled this season’s exhibitions at art museums, galleries, and other venues in Seville.
Coloramas at the Royal Artillery Factory

Coloramas opened at the Royal Artillery Factory in late February. A major event organized by the Regional Ministry of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Seville City Council.
Through May 17, 2026, visitors can explore this free exhibition, which brings together the talent of some twenty contemporary artists for whom color is the central focus of their practice.
Among the participating artists areCachito Vallés, David Magán, David Plaza, Equipo 57, Felipe Pantone, Gerardo Delgado, Guillermo Mora, Ignacio Tovar, Inmaculada Salinas, José María Yturralde, José Soto, Juan Suárez, Julio Le Parc, Manuel Barbadillo, Monika Buch, Paz Pérez Ramos, Pepa Caballero, Rosa Brun, Rubén Guerrero, and Soledad Sevilla.
Art and Mercy. The Santa Caridad de Sevilla at the Bellas Artes

The Museum of Fine Arts is hosting an exhibition featuring works from the Hospital de la Santa Caridad and the Church of San Jorge, in conjunction with their restoration. Thus, for the first time, it brings together masterpieces by Murillo, Valdés Leal, Pedro Roldán, and Pedro Duque Cornejo.
The exhibition, produced by the Regional Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Andalusian Regional Government in collaboration with the Hermandad de la Santa Caridad, showcases the works of these two artists, allowing visitors to view them from a more comfortable perspective than when they are installed in the church. Seventeen museum-quality works that can be enjoyed until June 7, 2026.
Temporary Exhibitions at the CAAC

Looking ahead to the coming months, the Andalusian Center for Contemporary Art in Seville is hosting several temporary exhibitions of interest. They are as follows:
- From December 11 through June 28, 2026, the CAAC is hosting Jem Perucchini’s *El alma diáfana de una mañana inmóvil*. The Ethiopian-Italian artist presents a dozen pieces that blend influences from Renaissance masters with African traditions and Christian iconography.
- Améfrica. Diasporic Connections at the Jorge M. Pérez Collection creates a dialogue among artists of different generations, geographies, and techniques, who together generate networks of interconnection by recreating the historical, visual, symbolic, and intellectual influences of the African continent on the American continent. Since February 2026.
- You can still visit ” Cachito Vallés. The Eternal Present,” which revolves around time and beauty. ThroughMay 24, 2026.
- Kupinduka, by artist Virginia Chihota, features paintings, drawings on paper, and a textile installation that evoke personal experiences related to motherhood, loss, memory, and faith. From March 19 through September 6, 2026.
Fuera de marco and Dinosaurs of Patagonia at Caixaforum

Caixaforum is offering two major exhibitions this season:
- On one hand, Fuera de marco. Rineke Dijkstra and Philippe Parreno offer a different take on two audiovisual works from the “la Caixa” Foundation’s Contemporary Art Collection that reinterpret Goya’s black paintings and Rembrandt’s Night Watch. Through May 31, 2026.
- Meanwhile, from Friday, April 10, to Monday, October 12, 2026, the museum is hosting *Dinosaurs of Patagonia*, a collection of original fossils and fifteen replicas of dinosaur skeletons found in this region. The exhibition has been organized in collaboration with the Egidio Feruglio Museum in Trelew.
Photography Exhibitions: Háptica and El Portador

In addition to the well-known cultural venues, Seville boasts many others, ranging from lesser-known foundations to small cafés or organizations that enliven life in the city’s neighborhoods and occasionally host interesting initiatives. We’ve compiled a list of some of them:
- The CICUS venue is offering two exhibitions this season: Celia Morgado’s “Podría haber sido de otro modo” (It Could Have Been Different ), on view through May 30.
- The Fundación Unicaja Sevilla Cultural Center is hosting Háptica through July 19. The exhibition champions the materiality and physicality of photography in the face of the dematerialization of the digital age. Fontcuberta explores the photograph not only as a volatile image or algorithm, but as a physical object that ages and has its own biography.
- Juan Agudo Saizar presents a documentary and emotional photography project carried out over four years in Cabra (Córdoba). The work centers on Holy Week and its brotherhoods (particularly following an encounter with the Santísimo Cristo de la Sangre brotherhood). The exhibition is on view at the CoberturaPhoto Gallery starting March 5.
Temporary Exhibitions at the Casa de la Ciencia

The season at the Casa de la Ciencia in Seville features a couple of temporary exhibitions.
Namely: Peru in Antarctica, which showcases the work of Peruvian scientists and sailors both at ECAMP and in the Antarctic Ocean through 36 images; andBrain(s), a collection of over 150 pieces centered on this fascinating organ.
Both exhibitions will be on view until November 25, 2025, and June 28, 2026, respectively.
Cayetana. Grande de España, at the Palacio de las Dueñas

Cayetana. Grande de España is the new temporary exhibition at the Palacio de la Casa de Las Dueñas, organized by the Casa de Alba Foundation to mark the 100th anniversary of her birth.
More than 200 pieces are on display in this central palace, centered around the 18th Duchess of Alba.
Does Africa ring a bell? at the Artes y Costumbres Populares

The Association for Culture and Cooperation with Africa, El Gulmi, organizes this exhibition, which brings together nearly three hundred musical instruments from various ethnic groups and countries in sub-Saharan Africa. A project that helps to understand the importance of music and dance in the daily life of African communities.
