The cultural agenda is stirring before the immediate flurry of activities and Christmas plans in Seville this 2024/25. The city shines with its own light about these dates so we have seen fit to bring together all these options that are open to us.
There are many proposals: markets, craft fairs, theme parks, gastronomic routes and other Christmas plans are added to the myriad of alternatives that Seville usually offers. Share these experiences and don’t stay at home.
1. Switching on the Christmas lights
The turning on of the Christmas lights emulates a kind of cataclysm whose main function is to establish the beginning of Christmas; thus, in Seville since the beginning of December a juicy seasonal program has been launched.
Hundreds of streets will be illuminated and embellished with shapes and colors during the coming weeks. This is this year’s Christmas decoration and its most emblematic spaces.
2. Candlelight Seville Christmas edition
Music and Christmas go hand in hand. The houses and streets of towns and cities are filled with Christmas carols and on January 1 we attend (telematically) the New Year’s concert in Vienna. But you don’t have to wait so long or go so far to enjoy the magic of these Christmas melodies.
Candlelight, the candlelight concert series, has designed the best Christmas programs to delight us with the best live music and add an extra touch of magic to the holidays. This Christmas you have a few unmissable and very varied dates to recover the Christmas spirit that is so lacking in this twilight of 2024.
3. Christmas Markets
Christmas markets in Seville conquer the avenues, squares and spaces that the city has prepared for the occasion. The city is decorated and receives the Christmas leisure full of novelties, with hundreds of stalls ready to help you in your decorations, Christmas tables and gifts.
4. Setalandia
Setalandia opened its doors on November 27 and until January 4, 2025 will animate the surroundings of Las Setas with its attractions, stalls and the presence of emblematic characters.
From the classic merry-go-round to a jumping area with inflatable mats that will delight the little ones.
5. Adrenaline and jumps at Urban Planet Seville
Christmas is that time of the year when emotions run high. There is a place in the city ready to let off steam, to feel the adrenaline and release it all at once. Urban Planet Seville is something like the paradise of the jumps. It was born as a park of trampolines (a trampoline park) with spaces to jump, bounce, fly … as you want and for the age and level you want.
For example, the Airbag style, to fall on, effectively, a gigantic airbag as if it were a cloud; Free Jump, a space to jump from trampoline to trampoline and practice acrobatics with total freedom, since they are all interconnected; the foam pool (the foam pit ) to jump as high as you want and cushion your falls; Street Jump, the perfect start to get started in parkour; or Pro Jump, the most professional area with the greatest jumping capacity. Another activity that has nothing to do with jumping but with adrenaline is the zip line, which runs through the entire space.
In Seville, in addition, Urban Planet also has a multi-adventure park with three different levels, to climb on a climbing wall, jump on an outdoor zip line…
