The Ateneo de Sevilla has already begun to draw the first sketches of the Three Kings Parade 2026. The new venue, the Royal Artillery Factory, will not be used for the first time in this next edition and, therefore, will repeat the departure from the Rectorate of the US as it happened last January.
So, while waiting for the Artillery Factory building to be available in terms of security (the concession will be extended for 75 years), there are other issues to be addressed in view of the coming January 5.
Three Kings Parade 2026: alternative itineraries
Although the route will not be subject to major changes in 2026, it will be necessary to take into account the works that Emasesa will start in Pagés del Corro. They will start this summer and will last about two years, so the transit through Triana will be modified.
According to ABC de Sevilla, from the Ateneo they consider three possible itineraries on which they will have an impact in September.
- On the one hand, they consider not to go to the Triana neighborhood in its 2026 edition, reaching the San Telmo Bridge as a connector with Plaza de Cuba and Asuncion.
- On the other hand, there is the possibility of crossing the Triana Bridge and run through San Jacinto to Esperanza de Triana. And from there approach República Argentina. This possibility would imply, at least, one hour more travel time.
- Likewise, it will be considered to take Betis street to Los Remedios.
