There are two maxims that come together on February 14 for avid diners. Maupassant’s, “cooking is the alchemy of love,” or “company” as the only thing more important than eating, as Rafael Ansón would say. These romantic restaurants in Seville combine both principles.
They strive to prepare delicious feasts and offer intimate and visually memorable spaces to enjoy in company. Whether it’s for Valentine’s Day or simply as an excuse to eat well at any time, we recommend these places.
Planning a proper date involves taking care of the details, from the menu to the location, taking into account each person’s preferences. Valentine’s Day is approaching, and you can celebrate it at one of these excellent romantic restaurants in Seville that we suggest for the occasion.
De la O

De la O has been dedicated to local cuisine for more than eight years alongside the Guadalquivir River.
A return to tradition, focusing on seasonal products and offering a menu that is practically gluten-free. Manuel Llerena, chef and architect of this gastronomic oasis, has managed to integrate finesse into both qualities.
The result is an intimate and harmonious restaurant where couples can enjoy an excellent experience and one of the most romantic restaurants in Seville.

Mari Ángeles Muñoz and José Antonio Barragán head this project based in Nervión, where you can enjoy everything from breakfast to afternoon tea with the guarantee of good food.
A cozy space where you can settle in with those you love and indulge in sustainable feasts.
Market cuisine, local produce, and dishes that highlight stews and soups. The vegetable garden and natural wines are, moreover, other undisputed stars of La Tizná.
Grandfather’s garage

In La cochera del abuelo, Seville stops under the spell of its location. The San Lorenzo neighborhood is home to this warm restaurant that exudes romance with every visit.
An idyll with seasonal produce and local wines. Starters as delicious as their version of marinated prawns, stews and rice dishes that taste like home, and meat and fish dishes executed with precision.
An intimate setting—which it seems to be, in fact, with that very high ceiling that allows for a second floor above the kitchen—that eschews artifice.
The cheesecake, another of the great stars of this establishment, is not to be shared, even on Valentine’s Day.

Javi Abascal has a lot to say in the gastronomic sphere. Itálica offers Italian specialties with all the flavor and character of the dehesa.
Two pantries and recipe books, Italian and Andalusian, which embrace each other with consistency.
Thus, on the second floor of the Hotel América Abascal, the team offers an appetizing formula summarized in a concise menu. And we think it also works perfectly as a Valentine’s Day invitation.
Ivantxu bistronomic space

If love is measured by honesty, Ivantxu is love at first sight. Great cuisine, a traditional restaurant that will have you thinking about it long after you get home.
The menu, while an ode to the product, eschews convention. Ivantxu is a chef without constraints, and his Valentine’s Day tasting menu is a great opportunity to get to know his project.
€140 per couple and includes charcoal-grilled oysters with ham velouté and Iberian pork jowl; leek toast with poached egg, cheese foam, and truffle; hake pinxto with pan-fried potatoes and beef tenderloin à la “Café de Paris. “
Top off the experience with a white chocolate mousse with strawberries and hazelnut praline.
Dinner includes a bottle of Lume, water, soft drinks, or wine.
ISPAL

Cutting-edge cuisine with deep Sevillian roots. This is how this prestigious restaurant, awarded 1 Repsol Sun, could be defined. A tribute to local cuisine with zero food miles in a dining room that will delight all five senses.
The experience offers diners two tasting menus for €120 and €139, both with wine pairing options.
Tradevo

Under the seal of Gonzalo Jurado, Tradevo offers bites full of intention. A succinct menu that invites sharing and combines haute cuisine techniques, seasonal produce, and a contemporary atmosphere.
From their iconic fried foods to those dishes where the sea and the mountains come together.
For the occasion, however, they are joining the trend of other restaurants and devising a special Valentine’s Day menu.
It consists of smoked sardines on tomato bread and roasted peppers, a red prawn and seasonal artichoke salad sautéed with creamy potatoes and sobrasada with roasted Iberian pork.
This is followedby free-range eggs with fried baby squid, pork cheeks, and finished with a brownie. It includes a bottle of wine or two drinks per person and costs €39 per person.
*Reservations are essential, specifying the Valentine’s Day menu.
Sobretablas

Chef Camila Ferraro and sommelier Robert Tetas are the perfect duo behind Sobretablas, a high-end restaurant influenced by El Celler de Can Roca.
Sobretablas, located in one of the buildings for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, is made up of several floors. It is undoubtedly one of the most romantic restaurants in Seville.
When it comes to eating, it combines part of the Andalusian recipe book with modern techniques. A cuisine with more than appetizing presentations that will delight anyone lucky enough to taste them.

You have to go to Tocina, in Los Rosales, 30 minutes from Seville, to come face to face with one of those rare rural gems. Juan Carlos Ochando and Elena Pérez have brought this project to fruition, with few tables and lots of cuisine in a small village that now shines as brightly as the sacred Abantal and Cañabota.
A small, family-run restaurant dedicated to Andalusian cuisine (but not exclusively), where tradition is emphasized without neglecting seasonality and innovation.
You can eat à la carte, which ranges from squid caught with a jig to carbonara or roasted octopus rice with sobrasada, or indulge in their tasting menu.
Regarding the latter, at least for now, you can eat for €65 for 13 courses and some dishes as memorable as their bluefin tuna meatball, micuit, and stroganoff sauce.
La Isla

For those who understand romance as an ode to classic sophistication, La Isla is a great destination for several reasons.
With a strategic location just a few steps from the cathedral and in the heart of El Arenal, it stands out as one of the finest restaurants for its products. Impeccable table service and a stately aesthetic serve as the common thread for a sophisticated evening, a first-rate Valentine’s Day.
Here, luxury is not an accessory but is served on the plate through fish and seafood that border on perfection or their legendary fried dishes.
The favorite place for those who find the pinnacle of dining at sea.

Tribeca emerged more than twenty years ago as one of the city’s creative gastronomic ventures, but far from the crowds of the city center.
Seasonal produce and, therefore, a solid offering rooted in a fresh menu with updated dishes and set menus.
Those who enjoy traditional flavors and want to try something a little different will find all this at Tribeca, in a quiet corner of La Buhaira.
Soft lighting falls on the linen tablecloths that provide the setting for unforgettable evenings in this classic restaurant in the capital.
Six

In 2017, the hospitality group Tu hogar fuera de casa opened an elegant restaurant in the Hotel Inglaterra. The restaurant follows the company’s premises: dynamism, fun tapas, good drinks, and competitive prices.
Given its refined appearance, it is not surprising that Seis has been chosen on several occasions to host film shoots for the small and big screen.
The good news is that it’s a fantastic option for a romantic date without breaking the bank.
And one last note for those with a sweet tooth: their torrijas, some of the most satisfying in the city:
Kinu

Among other virtues, Kinu stands out for its refined, intimate atmosphere, ideal for couples who seek subtle lighting and who definitely lean toward a good Japanese restaurant.
This embassy of Japanese cuisine also offers a seductive omakase bar, which will elevate the ceremonial experience of eating in front of the Itamae.

Maria Trifulca has one of the most emblematic views of the city, and when talking about romantic restaurants in Seville, this space must undoubtedly be included in the equation.
In the Triana lighthouse stands a restaurant frequented by tourists, locals, and celebrities that is well worth visiting on special occasions such as this.
An ideal destination for a romantic date in the light of its spectacular terrace, one of the most popular in the city.
San Fernando Restaurant in the luxurious Alfonso XIII hotel

In a list of restaurants to delight couples, we couldn’t leave out one of the most iconic, romantic, and exclusive locations in the entire city: the San Fernando restaurant at the Alfonso XIII hotel.
Chef Brian Kevin Deagan is behind the kitchen at this venue, which usually offers a menu inspired by love each season . A unique opportunity to enjoy Seville’s most spectacular architecture accompanied by first-class cuisine.
Served from February 12 to 15; on Saturday 14 for lunch and dinner, which will also be an intimate evening with live music. The price is €79 per person.
Valentine’s Day menus at Ovejas Negras

One of Seville’s most popular restaurant groups, Ovejas Negras, has given many of its restaurants a Valentine’s Day feel, with menus to enjoy as a couple over the next few days.
Castizo, one of our favorites in El Arenal, Casa Ozama, Mamarracha, De la Cruz, Barbarita, Café Santa Cruz, Torres y García, and Casa Limón are joining this initiative.
All of them are priced at €75 per couple (except Casa Ozama, €97) and are available from February 12 to 15.
Diverse gastronomic concepts; refined, traditional, casual, or romantic interiors; and, in short, experiences at reasonable prices.
Zoco

Where Vizcaíno, Fatouch, and La Bicicleta converge, a new character has joined the scene. Zoco has been open for a few months and is clearly the alternative location of the moment. Three formats in one and a sophisticated take on Lebanese cuisine.
It emulates a market, which is why it is called a souk, and for the same reason it brings together different concepts in the same space. Café, brunch, afternoon drinks and wines, dinners that linger by candlelight. It looks as good as it sounds.
The space fosters complicity, as do our favorites: my mother’s hummus or Zoco eggplant.
