Procuring a feast of haute cuisine is usually associated with high prices, although this is not always the case. Among the starred destinations, distinguished with Repsol Suns, Bib Gourmand and recommended there are strongholds of quality without giving up affordable bills, tasting menus that you can take in Seville for less than 60 euros per person and that are really worth it.
That’s right, for under 60 and 50 euros you can find exceptional and sophisticated experiences without breaking the bank. We tell you where.
1. La Casa del Tigre

One of the gastronomic references in Seville, La Casa del Tigre, ventures with its first tasting menu as part of its fifth anniversary. Chef Lucho Plaza has been able to skillfully devise a proposal in 7 courses that recall his career and the essence of this restaurant.
The stew of green vegetables with cod cooked at low temperature shines especially. The “Tigre” menu costs 39 € (60 € if the diner chooses the option with wine pairing), one of the best tasting menus for value for money in Seville.

2. La Carmela, tasting menu for 35 €.

For this tasting menu -probably the cheapest in the capital- chef Iván Valero pulls the concept of Basque ‘pintxos’, if you will, with pigtails of his Catalan origins and French techniques that give it that sophisticated and round je ne sais quoi.
A ‘pintxos’ bar in Los Remedios sounds like a joke but it is, by all accounts, the space that some will need to cross the river. Close, affordable and with a gastronomy adapted to the Andalusian palate.
The menu, balanced, full of textures and contrasts, makes sense but also has flavor. An author’s cuisine without baroque protocols or excessive prices. In fact, there are 5 passes and it costs 35 € without drinks.

Its menu explores the possibilities of the flame, such as its charcoal croissant or its seductive selection of meats, without neglecting a good number of refreshing dishes.
The tasting menu includes some of this classic and other appetizing bites such as grilled avocado or Andrea’s tortilla.
Pedro Valenzuela and Estefanía Ramos run this space, with chef Andrea Mylonas at the helm of the kitchen.
