Talking about street food in Seville, except for the autumnal chestnuts or take-away pizza slices, invites us to imagine a kebab in dürüm format, food for lazy nights or a prodigious ending to a night out.
Kebabs are at the same time whimsical, coveted snacks and dishes reviled by many, given the number of places dedicated to this recipe that roam the streets of the cities without too many guarantees of quality. Faced with this whim that we should be able to grant ourselves from time to time, the question is the following: where to eat a good kebab in Seville.
And there is life beyond the montaditos and other tapas and find businesses where the tradition of kebab (shawarma, dürüm, doner, call it what you want) is possible if you drop by these oriental bastions.
1. El Zapatazo
Among the kebabs in Seville, El Zapatazo is the king. It does not stand out for its cozy atmosphere (few businesses dedicated to kebab can boast of aesthetics) but for its long-standing presence in the city. In Peris Mencheta street, a few steps from the Alameda and Feria street, this temple successfully resists this temple dispensing kebabs and thin-crust pizzas during the festive nights.
There are two remarkable elements of this place: its spicy sauce and the history behind its name. We dedicated an article to the latter , which you can read here.

2. Fatouch
We confess in advance the inaccuracy: in Fatouch they don’t serve kebab. In fact, it is far from any place in the kebab, shawarma and durum imaginary that the reader expects. Fatouch is all Lebanese, one of the hottest restaurants in town with a concise menu of traditional recipes.
Their pita breads are, by all accounts, the star dish. They are served with grilled minced meat, parsley, onion, tomato, gherkin and radish. They accompany this delicacy with Zaatar-seasoned fries. By the way, we include them among our favorite mini sandwiches in Seville.

3. El rincón de Beirut
The oriental air that gives off this restaurant in front of the Rectorate of the University of Seville does not escape anyone. Those who have dropped by this other Lebanese restaurant (especially students) will confirm the closeness of its owners. In any case, these are not its real virtues. Its gastronomy, on the other hand, is the star.
Skewers with grilled vegetables, fatouch salad, falafel, lamb kabseh, hummus, stir-fries and other spicy and tasty cravings including, as we are concerned here, kebab. Thus, El rincón de Beirut, in place since 2014, offers the ideal option to introduce you to Middle Eastern cuisine. Its meats are 100% halal and will be a pleasant surprise for diners who have not yet tasted its proposal.

4. Aladdin Restaurant
The Aladdin Restaurant, in the vicinity of the Santa Justa and La Buhaira stations, is a trip to the heart of Jordan. We can not speak of a refined restaurant although they prepare some of the best kebab in Seville.
It has a pleasant terrace and a rich menu of oriental recipes (authentic halal meat) and generous portions. Traditional Jordanian dishes, kebabs of different meats, falafel or kebabs, one of the specialties of this Jordanian restaurant.

5. Kebab Torneo
Although it retains the aesthetics you expect from oriental restaurants, it has nothing to do with the typical kebab joint. This is an Egyptian restaurant that usually prepares its dishes with quite a bit of care. The kebab is delicious and does not leave you feeling stuffed. In addition, here you will find other dishes such as Nile rice or falafel, perfect to accompany your kebab.

6. Beyond Seville: Pepe Kebab
Going to Bormujos to get a kebab sounds, a priori, like a surreal plan. Fortunately, Pepe Kebab is a statement of intent in gastronomic terms and possibly one of the best kebabs in the province of Seville.
This Turkish restaurant adds a good bunch of goodness: high quality standards in their meats, abundant portions and prices of Aljarafe. In other words, the diner will dispatch succulent quantities without scratching his pocket and with the guarantee of having tasted a quality meal far from the concept of fast food that you will surely find in every corner of the capital.
