7 neighborhoods make up the district of Nervion and among them the Buhaira is one of the most monumental. A haven of peace that is allowed to vibrate from time to time, the bustle in its streets happens between the quiet of small businesses and the explosion of trendy restaurants.
Within its jurisdiction houses an Almohad palace or the bases of the pillars of the basilica of Hannibal Gonzalez, the Miraculous. Along with its joyful gastronomic proposal, it offers other services and walking areas that make it one of the favorite neighborhoods to live in. Its location is another of the benefits of the Buhaira, between the commercial district of Nervion, the historic center and the Santa Justa station, is a fantastic option to get out of the comfort zone and explore other neighborhoods of the city.
The Buhaira Palace
The Buhaira gardens and the palace that gives it its name may be overlooked by the tourist, but the Sevillian should know more than just how to locate them on the map. It is not difficult to recognize that it is not one of the most touristic places in Seville nor one of its essential monuments. However, a visit to the Palace and gardens of the Buhaira will take us back to a past of Arab splendor that deserves to be known.

Il Mercato
The Buhaira neighborhood (specifically number 4 of Diego Angulo Íñiguez street) is home to one of the most unexpected and tasty corners of Seville. Among all the gastronomic proposals that comprise the city, Il Mercato is still a rara avis, a little shop of traveler spirit that allows to acquire the authentic Italian product without leaving Seville.

Tribeca
Tribeca is a party in the heart of the Buhaira neighborhood and its work is commendable. The proposal is linked to seasonal products, which is why its menu is renewed with some frequency, to which they add certain elaborations outside the menu. A twist to the traditional recipe book using new forms and textures. A commitment to market cuisine, the quality of the products and high doses of creativity. Awarded with a Sol Repsol, it joins the avant-garde references that are reserved to this secluded neighborhood of Seville.
110 € (approximate price, as it depends on the season and the products).

Abantal
Abantal, between Menéndez Pelayo and Luis Montoto, elevated Sevillian gastronomy to excellence and for 14 years has revalidated its recognition in the famous guide, in addition to the two Repsol suns it holds. It opened its doors in 2004 and its kitchen is in charge of chef Julio Fernández Quintero, trained in the school of La Taberna del Alabardero in Seville. The dining room has a simple atmosphere, the work of architects Santiago Pérez Barreda and Jaime Márquez Escudero, and blends in with the menu, the undisputed protagonist of this experience that starts in Seville and crosses the whole of Andalusia. The perfect blend capable of balancing a recipe book with a powerful traditional component and the avant-garde in vogue.

DepiKofino
DepiKofino is a declaration of intentions in the middle of Eduardo Dato. The chef Dani Reche is behind the stoves of this restaurant, which champions the cuisine of a lifetime, sprinkled with creativity and flavor. Those who like to delight in the terroir will also find here an infallible bastion while tasting scandalous dishes. Among them we emphasize the risotto of cheeks or their alitas bravas. A hooligan menu and a relaxed atmosphere define this project that has been conquering the Buhaira for a decade. Diners should not miss the suggestions off the menu.

Escape rooms: Coco Room
Halfway between Santa Justa and the NerviĂłn Plaza Shopping Center is this escape room center. They have 2 games and 2 escape halls. We tried ‘Imperio Romano (HĂspalis)’ and we venture to say that, once we finished playing, we were surprised to get home without seeing Roman frescoes or gladiatorial atmosphere. In other words, the atmosphere in Coco Room is first class, with a surround music that accompanies each room and that will make you feel, we repeat, like a real gladiator. The atmosphere, decoration and verisimilitude of the space are a great plus when you want to achieve a completely immersive experience.
As for the tests, you will find them very varied, visual and interactive. You will have to rack your brains a bit to escape from this room, but getting there is well worth your time.
In any case, if you are not passionate about the universe of the Roman Empire and its investigations, ‘El enigma de Goya’ is the other game offered by Coco Room in MallĂ©n street. And along with these two rooms they also have two hall escapes (one of them is a version for the little ones), where the game takes place in the same room without the need to escape from the room but under the same slogan as a traditional escape: apply logic and common sense to decipher the objective of the game in question.

La Jara
This little shop bordering the NerviĂłn area specializing in national wines and Andalusian wines in particular also offers food with which to pair them. Cold tapas ranging from cheese, cured meats to a selection of salted meats. They have online sales and is a fantastic place to start the noon with a tasting.

Mano de Santo
One of the best Mexican restaurants in Seville with the tastiest flavors, brought from across the pond. La Alameda in the purest Mexican style: cochinita pibil, tacos al pastor or tuna tostadas and shrimp aguachile.
