A narrated story, a space set up for adventure and 60 minutes to escape from the game. If you don’t make it, you simply lose. This is the premise of the already well-known escape rooms, escape rooms to play with whoever you want and that have come to Seville to stay.
There are different formulas, with unthinkable decorations but all of them with a common denominator: decipher codes, solve riddles and overcome all the challenges in order to get out of these games safe and sound. You have to rack your brains a bit in some of them; in others not so much, although fun, tension and team play are guaranteed.
When we hear escape room, we immediately think of experience, teamwork, team buildings or, of course, gift ideas. However, the problem lies in knowing how to choose, and Seville is adding more and more rooms to its street so we have decided to try some of them and see if they are worth it.
The photographs illustrating this article do not correspond to the rooms described or mentioned in order not to reveal any details of the interior of the same.
Fourth Dimension
Going to Cerro del Aguila to be scared? Definitely the answer is a resounding yes if you are going to play ‘The last show‘. This is a very juicy escape room from which you will come out in love, yes. In terms of terror it is difficult to think that one will enjoy an evening, because we guarantee that in this game you will live frenetic moments but also fun and your body will be the main tool to escape.
Take action, use your wits and your hands to immerse yourself in this 100% immersive experience. The last show‘ has such an incredible decoration that you will feel, as soon as you cross the threshold of the Fourth Dimension door, that you have entered a real circus. Real or the most terrifying.
Seriously, more than 100 square meters (the largest escape of Seville) are enough for a lot in all aspects and to surprise room after room and amaze us with the details, the staging and the talent of the game master, the creators of the action and company, is priceless. Of course, its dimensions also require more time to escape so in this case you will have up to 90 minutes to scrutinize how the hell you will get out (alive) of this creepy space. A full-fledged horror movie whose level of fear you will be able to regulate depending on your equipment and even request the option without acting. Here we are going to grant ourselves a small spoiler: the terror mode is much more than recommended and even for people with tiny hearts is an experience full of adrenaline that you will not regret to live.
The question here is: do you dare?

Coco Room
Halfway between Santa Justa and the Nervión Plaza Shopping Center is this escape room center. They have 2 games and 2 hall escapes. We tried ‘Imperio Romano (Híspalis)’ and we venture to say that, once we finished playing, we were surprised to get home without seeing Roman frescoes or gladiatorial atmosphere. In other words, the atmosphere in Coco Room is first class, with a surround music that accompanies each room and that will make you feel, we repeat, like a real gladiator. The atmosphere, decoration and verisimilitude of the space are a great plus when you want to achieve a completely immersive experience.
As for the tests, you will find them very varied, visual and interactive. You will have to rack your brains a bit to escape from this room, but getting there is well worth your time.
In any case, if you are not passionate about the universe of the Roman Empire and its investigations,‘El enigma de Goya’ is the other game offered by Coco Room in Mallén street. And along with these two rooms they also have two hall escapes (one of them is a version for the little ones), where the game takes place in the same room without the need to escape from the room but under the same slogan as a traditional escape: apply logic and common sense to decipher the objective of the game in question.

The Orphanage
In the style of James Wan’s classic films, this room makes my hair stand on end every time I remember that hour that seemed to go on forever. Imagine that cinematic scene in which the protagonists go to a Russian orphanage to try to investigate some paranormal events that have been happening for some time now. In this case, you are the protagonist and this escape room is the orphanage in question. Apparently you have to restore tranquility to the place, although we anticipate that it is not going to be a quiet experience.
Do not let this presentation letter dissuade you, ‘The Orphanage’ is an adventure that you have to be part of, whether you are a lover of the horror genre or not.
A single game and a whole life experience ahead. ‘The Orphanage’ calls for intrepid souls who dare to go through the door of this terrifying escape room where darkness and its shadows will play a fundamental role. We warn you: get ready to live 60 minutes of pure adrenaline. If you are like us and the darkness itself also terrifies you, don’t worry, they will adjust to your fears so you can enjoy the adventure at your level. Of course, we recommend that you go for it all: it’s well worth it.

Llave Mayor
Oopart Mission is a room of contrasts, of time travel. Now you are here and in a puff (or in the resolution of one of the tests), voilà, you appear in another dimension, in another space-time, confused and amazed in every room. You’ll have to collect items and put on your feet all the information offered by the rooms to try to figure out how to get back to 2021 (if you want to go back, of course). It’s not all locks here so, tick tock, start figuring out how to escape.
Along with this, the Senda Templaria and Scriptorium complete the offer of this escape room center that is Llave Mayor.

The Secret
El Secreto Escape Room is located in the vicinity of the Murillo Gardens and has two rooms: the Manicomio and Abducción Alien. We tested this second game, an immersive scenario with a story worthy of a science fiction movie. The starting point is as follows: aliens have landed in Seville and are hiding around carrying out certain gruesome experiments. In this sense, your mission will be to save the human race. That’s nothing.
Watch out for the twists and turns in this room that promises more surprises than you might expect.

Murder Mystery
Murder Mystery’ is an escape room a little different from the rest. What we find behind the doors of this novel experience is an immersive theater in which we not only have to collect clues, but also interrogate the five murder suspects.
Do you think you can find out in less than two hours who murdered the singer Carmen García? This is the time you and your team will have to understand what secrets are hidden within the walls of the House of Memory: who is the culprit? How did he carry out the crime? What were his motives? A real mystery that needs your Sherlock Holmes.

Tempo
The name itself gives us a clue as to what we will find in all the rooms of this escape room. Indeed, the common denominator of Tempo Escape Room games is time travel: to the past and also to the future. In this huge space next to the Parque de los Príncipes there are four rooms with different themes and eras: Pirate Ship. Christopher Columbus. The Discovery; The Secrets of Pharaoh Tutankhamun; Steampunk. The future; and The Dungeon. The castle of Richard the Lionheart, the one we had the pleasure of trying.
Dive into the depths of the dungeon of this medieval castle and test yourself to come out. One of the best aspects of this room is, of course, its atmosphere.
