To dismantle the argument that says that you can do everything you can do in big cities that no other city can offer you, you only have to take a quick look at the leisure agenda in Seville. Its solidity is confirmed by the appearance of the promising Gastrogarden.
The Magallanes Park will host this event from March 14 to 16. The event will revolve around the best of Sevillian cuisine paired with musical proposals and a rich program of activities for all profiles.
The idea is a stroke of genius. Bringing together in an outdoor space the best restaurants in the city integrating music as another character of the experience over three days. Signature tapas, live music, showcookings, wine tastings or witness an authentic tuna ronqueo.
Gastrogarden goes beyond fantasy and moves all these assumptions to the environment next to Torre Sevilla.
The inauguration will take place on Friday at 13:00 when there will be a live tuna ronqueo with Herpac and showcooking of the hand of professionals from the School of Hospitality in Seville, which will prepare several rice dishes.
In pararlo, from 12:15 pm, will also feature live broadcast from the festival in Hoy por Hoy Sevilla (Cadena Ser). From 16:00 hours the doors of Gastrogarden will open officially and access will be free.
Program of activities
While gastronomy will lead these days, Gastrogarden will have different and connected areas. The “La Tapería” will bring together the participating restaurants offering a signature tapa from their kitchens at the same price.
In other words: having the opportunity to taste incredible bites from the hand of the spaces that are raising the gastronomic scene of Seville at a reasonable price.
In the absence of knowing in depth the full program, it will feature a full calendar of activities and gastromusical experiences. From showcookings and musical tastings, markets of local products and crafts linked to the culinary world.
There will also be tastings, small courses on specific topics, talks and a space dedicated to the sweetest cravings. All this will be harmonized with activities and workshops for children and green areas equipped with benches and chairs. Music will be an inseparable element of the event with bands and DJ sessions throughout the weekend.

Which restaurants will participate in Gastrogarden?
One of the big questions lies in knowing which ones will be part of the festival. It is known that Sr. Cangrejo, Barra Baja, Marabunda, Desacato, Eterno, Lalola de Javi Abascal, Cal Viva, Enea, Ajo & Agua, La Tizná, Sal Gorda, El Limón del Hotel Don Ramón and Sevruga.
Up to 13 gastronomic references of Seville will meet at Magallanes Park on March 14, 15 and 16. Be sure to check this article and Gastrogarden’s networks to stay updated.
Who are behind the project
Gastrogarden is a proposal born from the union between Rocknrolla Producciones (responsible, for example, for Electrolunch or Pop CAAC) and Restaura Truck. The latter, led by Javier Ocaña, has more than 10 years of experience in the organization of gastronomic events, with a fleet of food trucks and its own catering.
The festival has the support and sponsorship of various public institutions and private companies, including Seville City Council Tourism, the Seville Territorial Delegation of Tourism, Culture and Sport of the Junta de Andalucía, and Torre Sevilla.
