There is no doubt that Seville expands its gastronomic limits and more and more we dare with different flavors.
And like everything in life, you only have to try it once and you will have to swallow all your words. How many of you rejected the idea of setting foot in a Japanese restaurant because you didn’t like raw fish. And then life finds the right moment to give you a “whack”!
My case is precisely this. And it’s not that I tried it discreetly, but I had enough of all the types of sushi in the restaurant and not satisfied with that I went the next day to order a small tray to take away. In the end, when you criticize something it blows up in your face. Here you have the people responsible for making me swallow my words.
Sibuya
In the heart of Seville, a few steps from Tetuán street is Sibuya. Its main insignia is that of a modern space that brings us closer to Japanese cuisine with traditional recipes and other more innovative ones. Under a cosmopolitan and calm atmosphere that encourages to taste its gastronomic proposal.

The brotherhood of sushi
If you are reluctant to Japanese food, and sushi in particular, this may be the place for you to start. Immerse yourself in the flavors of Japan in the most Andalusian atmosphere. Not only its food is fusion, but also its decoration and layout. In addition, it is probably the best sushi in Seville considering its price. Here is an in-depth profile of this family with art.

Akashito Sushi
This sushi place opened its doors in Triana a few years ago and since then we have become addicted to everything their chefs prepare (you can tell they do it with love). The prices are quite good: a roll of maki or uramaki (both 8 pieces) for only 4€ and 5 nigiris for 4€.
There is also another important factor to highlight: you can make your own maki and uramaki rolls by mixing the ingredients you want for the same price. Vegetarians will be delighted by this great variety. You can call by phone to order it and then pick it up on the premises, although you also have the option of having the sushi at a nearby bar. So, lover of Japanese gastronomy, you are already taking your chopsticks!

Kaede
Perhaps the most romantic place on this list. All varieties of sushi are tremendous and usually the quantities are generous. The price as you can imagine will not go below 15-25€ per head if you want to eat decently. The service is not bad, but it is a bit dry and they are not experts when it comes to recommending you. By the way, you can also order at home, although I recommend you to go to the restaurant to enjoy the experience more.

Oshiro
It has a varied menu. It usually costs about 20 € per head. A but I would put is that there are no desserts typical of Japan, although as far as sushi is better than good. The place is curious because it has a medieval decor that also clashes with the type of food served.

Wasabi Seville
It is the main responsible for my adoration towards sushi. Many people had recommended it to me, so I went for it and got the surprise of my life. The rice has a point that was tremendous. The waiters are super friendly and explain everything you do not know. In my case, being a first timer, they recommended me the avocado maki, the eel nigiri (I was a little afraid of this) and the uramaki with salmon, mango and cream cheese. All this will sound like Japanese Chinese, but I swear you will not regret it. The price is not too expensive for the quality ingredients they use. Also, to my scale’s disgrace, they have home delivery.
