Water parks are inseparable concepts when thinking about cities like Seville, hit by high temperatures until an indeterminate autumn. It is therefore logical that these refreshing spaces proliferate as a refuge from the heat and a summer plan during the summer season for those who can not (or do not want to) go to the nearby beaches.
We review the water parks in Seville, essential alternatives to combat the sweltering summer, beyond the municipal pools, those that crown the terraces of some hotels or the best beaches in Andalusia.
Aqua Magica
If in terms of fun and theme parks Isla Magica captains all lists, Aqua Magica does the same in terms of water parks in Seville. Especially since one can easily access both parks in the same day if you purchase the combined ticket.
Agua Mágica is a good choice to go with friends or for the whole family. Pools of different classes (including waves), sandy beach and the guarantee of a refreshing summer day. A park that is an ode to water without leaving Seville and that brings together in its space a good amount of adrenaline-filled attractions.
This summer 2023, this popular water park in Seville will open its doors on Saturday, May 27 and will extend its activity until October 1. El Arrecife, a whole conglomerate of pools, from zip lines to relaxing spaces, is one of the most complete bets. Although it is followed by the lively Quetzal beach, Rio lento or the ambitious Isla de Toboganes.

Magic Island
Visiting Isla Magica every season is a pressing need for any self-respecting profile. A leisure proposal that crosses all ages and tastes and has water attractions, other timeless ones, shows ( Tierra, the exhibition and closing ceremony deserve special mention) or multi-adventure area dedicated to the little ones.
It is one of the most famous leisure parks in Andalusia and is open to the public from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. The huge space that constitutes Isla Magica in La Cartuja consists of 6 themed areas. Namely: Port of the Indies, Port of America, the Cartagena de Indias area, Amazonia, Skull Island or El Dorado.
Specifically, some of its most popular and spectacular attractions are El Desafío, an imposing free fall of 68 meters high; or Jaguar, an intrepid jungle roller coaster. As for the more summery attractions, Iguazú, Anaconda or Los rápidos del Orinoco are among the favorites of visitors.
