Andalusia has approved its work calendar, which shows that Seville will have a total of 14 public holidays in 2026. Of these days, two will be local holidays set by the city councils, two will be established by the Regional Government of Andalusia, and ten will be national holidays.
Sevillians can look forward to several long weekends in 2026: the one extending Labor Day, Friday, May 1, into the weekend; National Day, Monday, October 12; and Christmas Day, which falls on a Friday.
To these must be added the transfers of All Saints’ Day and Constitution Day to Monday, November 2, and Monday, December 7, respectively. This extends both weekends.
Meanwhile, Holy Thursday and Good Friday (April 2 and 3) make up the holidays for Holy Week this year.
