The gastronomic festivals in Seville are on the rise and Gastrogarden, one of the most anticipated events in Seville that had to be postponed several times because of weather forecasts, is postponed again.
It will be held, as announced a few hours ago in social networks, in Magellan Park and finally it will be held on March 14, 15 and 16.
“Dear friends, we are aware that this is already going to sound a bit like Groundhog Day, and we understand… but it seems that the weather is not on our side and again the forecast announces a lot of rain and wind for this weekend. Once again, we are forced to postpone the festival, although this time it will only be a week: we postpone the event to March 14, 15 and 16.”
An appointment that anticipates the spring and that will be marked by the cuisine of the hand of some of the best restaurants in the city and dozens of workshops, tastings and showcookings in parallel.
Apart from the events devoted to a single recipe – concepts such as Caracolia or Chicharfest – or to a culinary whole (chocolate in Guadalcao or stews in Cuchareando), Gastrogarden is lavished to integrate in the same space and time to the best gastronomic references of Seville.
Live music, tastings and the promise of enjoying a gastronomic weekend at all levels.
In the absence of confirming which firms will make up La Tapería, it is known that, for the moment, Marabunda and Sr. Cangrejo are part of the salty sector.
As for La Dulcería, the sweet section of Gastrogarden, Heladería Bolas, Muy Coffee, Kombucha-T and Galletanas will offer their treats in foodtrucks.
Access to the festival is free and free of charge, as well as some of the activities that will take place throughout the weekend.
In any case, not all tastings and workshops will be free, although their cost will be indicated in the festival’s networks and the tapas will have a single price of 5 €.
