Seville’s spring is marked by several interrelated themes (beyond the events the city eagerly awaits): outdoor terraces as a refuge and a social necessity, and the season for snails and cabrillas.
Without giving up the vast variety of tapas available in Seville, snails stand out during these months as one of the quintessential snacks of spring. Given the enthusiasm they generate in Seville (and especially in the city of Córdoba), the city is hosting a gastronomic event centered on this springtime dish for the second time: Caracolia.
This snail fair will bring together all lovers of this dish on the Paseo de Colón. An event organized by the Seville Academy of Gastronomy and Tourism and the Seville and Province Hospitality Association, in collaboration with the City Council, and with the support of Sevilla City Office and Cruzcampo.
Twelve of the most iconic snail-selling establishments will gather at this location , offering other signature tapas such as papas aliñás, montaditos, and chicharrones.
There, vendors will have space for sales and tastings to highlight this seasonal local product.
Caracolia: dates, times, and tickets
The dates set for this fourth edition in 2026 are April 30 through May 2, and the event will once again take place on Paseo Colón and the upper section of Paseo Marqués de Contadero.
Meanwhile, the schedule will undergo some changes. Thursday will still be an evening event, opening at 8:00 PM and running until nearly midnight, 11:45 PM.
However, on Friday and Saturday there will be two sessions: from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM and from 8:00 PM to 11:45 PM.
As was the case in the previous edition, admission costs €4 and includes a drink.
