From the vote on local holidays, which took place during the plenary session of September 19, it emerged that repeat those of last year. Namely: Wednesday Fair and Corpus Christi.
Both local holidays in Seville are specified on May 7, Wednesday Fair and June 19, Thursday Corpus Christi. Therefore, May 30, the day of San Fernando (patron saint of the city), so subject to debate on other occasions, will again be a working day.
The return of the April Fair to the traditional model, from Monday to Sunday, raised suspicions as to when it would host its local holiday. Although the possibility of moving the holiday to Tuesday was considered, in order to avoid a tedious day on Tuesday after the night of pescaíto, it has finally been determined to keep Wednesday as a holiday.
