The hugely popular “Noches Blancas” in Gines have a counterpart on the other side of the province of Seville. In other words, the town in the Aljarafe region isn’t the only one that opens its municipal pool at night. Mairena del Alcor does the same, and—just 20 minutes from Seville— offers nighttime swimming and water parties designed for the whole family.
The town stands out not only for its 50-meter Olympic-size pool but also for its summer program.
This facility, featuring spacious green areas, lawns, shade, tree-lined paths, and picnic areas, is the perfect place to spend a full day outdoors without leaving the province.
Night swimming and “water party”: August schedule and dates
One of the main attractions of this facility is its nighttime swimming sessions. Following the success of the first event held in late July, the Mairena del Alcor City Council is preparing its next Summer Night.
- Next night swimming event: August 19, 2026.
- Hours: 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
- Price: 3 euros for those 10 and older.
In addition to the evening sessions, the facility will host the traditional Water Festival on August 15, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., which is ideal for the little ones to enjoy.
Additionally, as in previous seasons, the traditional “Free Sundays” for municipal residents will be announced through the City Council’s official channels.
Ticket prices, passes, and opening hours
Enjoying this Olympic-size pool is a very affordable leisure option for every budget:
- Tuesday through Friday: €2 (children under 14 and senior citizens) | €3.50 (ages 14 and older).
- Weekends and holidays: €4 (children under 14 and seniors) | €7 (ages 14 and up).
- Monthly passes (Tuesday through Saturday): €22 for children under 14 and seniors, and €40 for those 14 and older.
Regular hours of operation
- Tuesday through Friday: 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays: From 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Monday: Closed for maintenance.
Where to buy passes
Tickets and passes can be purchased online through the Sporttia platform or in person at the reception desk of the Municipal Indoor Pool (at the corner of Pablo Neruda and Pedro Salinas streets) Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
