In Plaza Calderón de la Barca, across from the Calle Feria Market, the Palace of the Marquises of La Algaba stands as a magnificent (and often overlooked) example of Mudejar art. It is during the summer season that it reaches its full splendor as part of the “Summer Nights” series.
For the 2026 edition, the series is once again committed to an exclusively musical program, perfectly suited to the venue’s intimate atmosphere and acoustics, and characterized by a broad eclecticism in the selection of genres and artists.
Musical variety from July through August
The program features music from Al-Andalus, fado, Brazilian rhythms, Irish folk, hot jazz, medieval and Renaissance music, fusion flamenco, rock, Baroque opera, Cuban music, soul, blues, pop, and Afro-Iberian fusions.
The performances take place three days a week— Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays—during the months of July and August, with the evenings beginning promptly at 9:30 p.m. Up to 27 concerts—this year’s series was inaugurated by the Municipal Symphonic Band last Thursday, June 30—will be held this summer of 2026.
Tickets are available free of charge (while seats last), with a maximum of two tickets per person per day.
How to reserve and pick up tickets?
Online ticket reservations must be made each week via this link; registration opens on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. for that week’s performances.
Once reserved, tickets must be picked up at the Palacio de los Marqueses de la Algaba itself by presenting a valid ID during the following scheduled times:
- Mornings: Monday through Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Afternoons: Tuesday through Thursday, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Seats are not numbered, and seating is assigned strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets must be picked up in person before 9:00 p.m. on the day of the concert; otherwise, they will become invalid.
