Cheese makers of the province: you’re in luck. Santiponce is hosting its 6th Artisan Cheese Fair, an exhibition dedicated to this product, from February 27 to March 1.
Cheese will be the undisputed star of this market, which is expected to attract a large crowd. The event will bring together almost twenty national brands, so that potential consumers can discover first-hand the benefits of the different varieties, brands, and presentations in which cheese can be enjoyed.
The event will take place around the Plaza del Pajartillo, where food stalls will be set up offering pork rinds, pickles, salted meats, Portuguese pastries, and artisanal ice cream, among other items.
Cheese tasting
Cheese and drink tastings can be purchased with tickets that the organization will sell at designated points.
This edition continues to be free and open to the public, although the ticket in question costs €6. With this ticket , you can enjoy up to eight tastings.

- El Pastor del Torcal; Facendera, cosas y quesos; Quesos Don Apolonio; Quesería Doña Leonor de Albuquerque; Quesos y besos; La Pastora de Grazalema; Quesería Silva Cordero; Quesería Cortijo La Vicaria; Quesería Prestes Santiago; Quesería S’Arangí. In addition to those from Sierra Sur, El Arquillo, Quesos del Casar, Ojos del Guadiana, Quesos Mena, Quesera del Cares, Tierra de Barros, La Covacha, and Arqueogastronomía.

Specifically, the Artisan Cheese Fair will be held in the Plaza del Pajartillo in Santiponce on February 27 and 28, as well as March 1. Specifically, it will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
