Cheesemakers of the province: you are in luck. Santiponce hosts its V Artisan Cheese Fair, an exhibition dedicated to this product from February 27 to March 2.
Cheese will be the undisputed protagonist of this market, which is expected to gather a good crowd. The event will bring together almost twenty brands of national origin, so that potential consumers can learn first hand the benefits of the different varieties, brands and presentations in which a cheese can be tasted.
The event will take place around the Plaza de la Constitución, where gastronomic stalls will be set up around the chicharrones, pickles, salted meats or delicacies from Portugal, among others.
Also, as tradition dictates, on February 21 was held the tasting for the ‘ Santiponce Artisan Cheese Contest ‘ by Ruth Lozano. On the 27th, after the inauguration of the Artisan Cheese Fair, the trophies will be awarded.
Cheese tasting
Regarding the tasting of cheeses and beverages can be purchased through the tickets that the organization will sell at the established points.
This edition is still free and open access for all public although the ticket in question has a price of 6 €. With it you can make up to 8 tastings.

Specifically, the Artisan Cheese Fair will be held in the Plaza de la Constitución in Santiponce from February 27 to March 2. The most cheesy event in the province of Seville repeats at the end of the month to say goodbye to February with a good taste after saying goodbye to Carnival.
