The first signs of summer are just approaching and Seville is already ahead of the plans that breathe summer or that, at least, seek to approach the sea. Seville allows to combine all of them: those who can escape to the sea and those who stay can reconcile their days with gastronomic events such as the one proposed by Tribeca with Barbadillo.
They are the Days of traditional cuisine “Sanlúcar de Barrameda”, a paired proposal that follows in the wake of others held in the distinguished restaurant.
The event will take place on June 26 at 2:00 pm. It is necessary to travel to Nervión to taste the proposal of this institution that, for the occasion, joins Bodegas Barbadillo.
An ode to Sanlúcar: all the dishes on the menu
In this case, Pedro Giménez approaches this town in Cádiz with a deep gastronomic tradition through a paired tasting menu. 9 bites comprising 4 appetizers, 1 starter, 1 main course and 3 desserts for 75 €.
The appetizers that start this Sanlúcar appetizer consist of veranillo de chipirones, tortilla de huevos de choco, papas de colonia con melva and an infallible tortillita de camarones (shrimp omelette). Manzanilla Solear will harmonize this first introductory station.
Chickpeas with prawns will be the starter offered in this experience, which will be accompanied by Alba de Bilbaína.
As for the main course of this menu, a skate with paprika is expected, which will be taken with Quadis Crianza.
Three classics close the experience: tocino de cielo, empiñonado and cortadillo de cidra, which will be paired with Eva Cream.
