Making a collection of the idiosyncrasy and character that only Triana knows, the Plazuela de Santa Ana lights up this December 12 to celebrate its Poleá, the event that brings together live flamenco and the possibility of tasting this traditional dessert, at a time little known and delicious.
Singing, dancing and playing for free from 17:00 hours in a magical evening in the heart of this neighborhood.
A Golden Tribute: 50 Years of “Nuevo Día”.

Luis Ybarra will be in charge of presenting this event in which a stellar cast of artists will participate.

As far as the poleá is concerned, it is a kind of sweet gacha, typical in western Andalusia. That desserts, a scarce commodity in humble homes, materialized in this delicacy that provided energy and for which flour, milk, sugar, oil and matalahúva (aniseed grain) are used.
