Above and beyond the opinions of guidebooks and food critics—and even above those of food influencers and other public figures— it seems that the public both trusts and is fascinated by the places where celebrities eat. This was made clear by Rosalía’s tour of Seville last May. Perhaps that’s why the Repsol Guide has compiled a list of bars, restaurants, and other “Soletes” favorites of dozens of celebrities.
And knowing that summer is the perfect time to head to the coast, we decided to find out what Paz Padilla’s favorite spots are in one of Sevillians’ favorite destinations: Zahara de los Atunes.
This town in the province of Cádiz overlooks the sea and, contrary to what one might expect, is home to an impressive array of interesting options—which are just as appealing to locals.
Places centered around tuna, seafood stews, and other delicacies typical of the Cádiz coast.
Comedian and TV host Paz Padilla knows this firsthand, and these are her 5 must-visit spots in Zahara de los Atunes.

Paz Padilla’s Favorite “Soletes” in Zahara de los Atunes
1. Ramón Pipi
For Paz Padilla and her family, this place is a sacred and unmissable stop on every visit. Located right in the heart of town (right next to her well-known store, No Ni Ná), Ramón Pipi stands out for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and simple dishes—baked rockfish, various tuna dishes, and seafood.
2. Casa Juanito
When talking about culinary hotspots in Zahara de los Atunes, one must mention Casa Juanito, a classic among classics—a family-run restaurant that has been in the hospitality business for three generations. Since 1948, they’ve been cooking up and showcasing traditional Cadiz cuisine by the sea.
Her salt-baked tuna tail is one of the signature dishes of this restaurant, which Paz Padilla never fails to visit when she returns to her mother’s hometown.
3. El Trompeta
In this case, it’s not just one of her favorite spots— El Trompeta is actually the beach bar that Paz Padilla runs alongside her brother Luis (affectionately nicknamed “El Trompeta”).
Located in an idyllic setting among dunes and greenery right on the beach, it’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day in the sun. In addition to a great atmosphere and music, the menu features casual options like its acclaimed burgers and appetizers.
4. Monte-Mar
Another of the great culinary institutions that the comedian always marks on her gastronomic map.
The Monte-Mar Restaurant stands out for its ability to balance traditional Cadiz-style cuisine with an appealing contemporary twist. Its preparation of almadraba tuna is another of its highlights.
5. Almadraba
A legendary spot in Zahara that has the Padilla family’s seal of approval. Its menu focuses on showcasing coastal ingredients, with fresh fish, impeccable rice dishes, and, of course, cuts of wild bluefin tuna that are absolutely incredible.
