Visitors arriving in the city in their own vehicle to spend a few days, people who work in Seville, neighbors who work abroad or simply those who drop in by car for the day will certainly appreciate this guide to parking and free parking in Seville.
The thought of wandering around the center trying to find a parking space (and for free) is quite a madness, especially during the weekend.
In order not to end up racking your brains, we have listed free parking spaces, safe areas for free parking not so far from the center or parking lots that, although paid, can become your best ally on occasion.
Regulated parking zones in Seville
As is already the case in most European capitals, Seville has regulated parking zones that are paid for a limited period of time to guarantee parking. Specifically, it has three different categories:

- Blue Zone, the currently known as GES (Gestión de Estacionamiento en Superficie), high turnover. Maximum 2 hours, minimum 35 minutes (€0.60).
- MAR Zone: very high turnover. Maximum parking 120 minutes; minimum 35 minutes and 0.45 euros.
- Green zone: low rotation. 180 minutes maximum; the minimum is 1 hour (0.65 euros).
The timetable that applies to these levels is from 9:00 to 14:00 hours and from 17:00 to 20:00 hours from Monday to Friday. Only the Bami neighborhood escapes this timetable, uninterrupted from 8:00 to 22:00 from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays, on the other hand, the established schedule is from 10:00 to 14:00 hours in all areas of Seville.
In summer, from July 1 to August 31, all areas are regulated from 9:00 to 14:00 hours.
From all this it is possible to park in the center of Seville for free. Of course, as long as you do it between 14:00 and 17:00 hours or from 20:00 hours on weekdays, from 14:00 on Saturdays or Sunday all day. Good luck with this company.
Where is there free parking in Seville?

Generally the free parking areas in Seville are not in the city center although it won’t take you long walks to get to the old town.
- Isla de la Cartuja and Torre Pelli. One of the favorite locations for free parking in Seville are the surroundings of the Sevillian skyscraper and the Cartuja. From the Alamillo Park to the Escuela Superior de Hostelería de Sevilla the possibilities are abundant. Spend the day in Triana or do some shopping in the mall and this will undoubtedly be the best proposal.
- Tournament. Of course the task is complicated depending on the day and time if one intends to park in Torneo, so close to the Alameda, Campana and Reyes Católicos. In any case, it is not so unusual to find parking in this area.
- Triana and Los Remedios. Ronda Tejares, Avenida Presidente Adolfo Suárez, El Tardón, Parque de los Príncipes or Blas Infante are excellent locations to leave your car for free. Trying to do so in Calle Castilla, although possible, is not so common.
- Between Santa Justa and San Bernardo. Polígono San Pablo, Avenida Andalucía, the streets adjacent to Gran Plaza as well as those parallel and perpendicular to Avenida San Francisco Javier should be on your free parking map in Seville. From here you can take the 32 to get to the center, the streetcar and even the metro. If you are in Viapol, in fact, you are only about 25 minutes walk from the Avenida de la Constitución and the Cathedral of Seville.
- Next to the Plaza de España, Cardenal Bueno Monreal, Avenida de la Borbolla and, in short, the Porvenir neighborhood, can offer succulent but more sought-after places.
- Depending on the destination, the area surrounding the Real de la Feria (when it is not a fair, of course) is a simple (and free) parking option.
Private and central parking lots in Seville

On busy days, even finding a spot in the paid parking lots, central or not, can be more of a chore than a quick fix.
In any case, the best parking lots for proximity to places of interest in the center of Seville are:
- Cano y Cueto, although small in size, is one of the most easily accessible parking lots and just a stone’s throw from the Santa Cruz district of Seville.
- Escuelas Pías is another favorite, next to Hotel Don Paco, and very close to Las Setas.
- A location full of parking lots is the one from Torneo (at the height of Baños street) and Aroja (up to Adriano). If you have not found luck on your own, you can fit into the SABA in Plaza de Armas, the APK2 in Magdalena, AUSSA (in the Triana Market), the one in Paseo de Colón or the one in the Arenal Market.
- Finally, in the area of Seville where Puerta de Jerez and Plaza de Cuba meet, there is another handful of parking lots such as the one on Avenida de Roma or the one on Ardilla Street.
Where to park during Holy Week in Seville
The tedium of parking in Seville is not exclusive during Holy Week, but it is a particular headache.
And is that the regulated parking service remains operational throughout Holy Week (also during the Fair) many of the streets of the city are inaccessible.
Therefore, it is irrefutable to look for free parking outside the walls, away from official races and areas with large crowds of people.
For example, the City Council of Seville will set up a parking lot next to the Blas Infante subway with capacity for 1,200 spaces during Holy Week .
Again, Nervión, La Buhaira and Cartuja continue to be excellent locations to leave our vehicle during these especially busy days.
