Seville can boast of great gastronomic achievements, although Japanese cuisine is not yet one of them. However, the years have been familiarizing the palates to Japanese recipes and the city’s street list is gradually increasing the list of Japanese restaurants in Seville.
Getting started in the noble art of preparing sushi and other dishes is quite a challenge. Tasting it, fortunately, does not imply greater complications than finding a good restaurant where to drop in. Unusual ingredients, less common varieties, ramen or Japanese classics come together in these Japanese restaurants, delicacies to introduce Seville in this gastronomy.
1. Kinu

Those who are familiar with Japanese cuisine will not fail to be surprised by the establishment that opened its doors in Seville in October: Kinu.
Beyond the unusual creations of Japanese gastronomy that customers will find at number 11, Miguel Mañara Street, this new addition to the hotel and catering business houses a concept in the purest Japanese style: the first Omakase bar in the city.
Omakase, in Japanese, means to trust and that is precisely what diners should do when they set foot in this restaurant. Let yourself be carried away and put yourself in the hands of the chef. In Kinu, as in any good traditional Japanese restaurant, the customer does not choose what he wants to eat. Or at least he will not do so in the experience offered by its bar for six diners. On the other hand, it has low tables with capacity for about 25 people with a predominance of raw and grilled food.

2. Sibuya Urban Sushi Bar

In the heart of Seville, just a few steps from Tetuán street is Sibuya. Its main insignia is that of a modern space that brings us closer to Japanese cuisine with traditional recipes and other more innovative ones. Under a cosmopolitan and calm atmosphere that encourages to taste its gastronomic proposal.

3. Akashito Sushi

This sushi place opened its doors in Triana a few years ago and since then it is a benchmark in terms of Japanese restaurants in Seville. The prices are quite tight although it is not the only one of its attractions. In Akashito Sushi diners can prepare their own maki and uramaki rolls mixing the ingredients to taste for the same price.

4. Restaurant L. San

L. San is one of the highest quality buffets in the province of Seville specialized, in this case, in Japanese cuisine. It opens every day of the week and offers more than 100 Asian elaborations to choose from. Its menu includes makis, nigiris, fried, rice, noodles or a good compendium of special recipes.
Specifically, the buffet offered by this restaurant includes three rounds of five dishes per person, with a supplement of 1€ for those more special.

5. Bonus track: Chifa

A sensational restaurant in many ways, especially if the reader likes flavors with a certain exoticism. At Chifa tapas they work Japanese and Peruvian fusion cuisine, whose dishes will awaken all your senses. If we had to choose one of their dishes, we would probably go for their aji de gallina niguiri.
