El Terril Peak

A short distance from the town of Algámitas and the Sierra del Terril, is the highest point of Seville, El Terril. Along the way, where the scent of thyme is also protagonist, you can see the villages of Olvera, Pruna and the Rock of Algámitas.
This is one of the most beautiful hiking routes in Seville if the sky is clear, because from its shy 1,128 meters crowns and presides over the entire province of Seville. On a favorable day, the hiker will be able to glimpse natural jewels beyond the Seville countryside such as the Sierra de las Nieves or Grazalema.
Distance: 6.88 kilometers.
Mulva Ruins Trail
This famous hiking route leads to the ruins of Mulva, located 50 kilometers from Seville and very close to the town of Villanueva del Río y Minas. The discovery of this archaeological site is attributed to two researchers from the Academia de las Buenas Letras de Sevilla in 1765. Although the ruins have been identified as a sanctuary, they are popularly known as Castillo de Mulva.

In the collective imagination of hiking routes in Seville, possibly stands out first this path that follows the route of the old mining train and ends at Cerro del Hierro.
At a certain point, it crosses the municipality of San Nicolás del Puerto and the Huéznar waterfalls. In addition, in this crossing you will find tunnels, climbing areas, pools and waterfalls to fall in love (even more) with the Sierra Norte.
Distance: 37.4 kilometers (round trip).
Circular route from El Real de la Jara: Batrocal Road
In this case, the starting point is the town Real de la Jara. The route will take you about 3 hours and is of moderate intensity, as you will have to ford streams and overcome some obstacles along the way.
You will also come across the Castillo de las Torres, known for being a crossing point of the Camino de Santiago. Specifically, it is located in the 4th stage of the Vía de la Plata. Well, it is consolidated as one of the most complete hiking routes through the Sierra in the province.

Route of the chestnut groves and castle of Constantina.

This hiking route is circular and starts and ends in Constantina, Seville. It lasts about 3 hours at a normal pace and you can enjoy its dense vegetation. In addition, this route is cultural heritage and will allow you to visit the Castle of the town, one of the emblems of the Sierra de Sevilla.

Circular of La Zarcita in Aznalcóllar.

Aznalcóllar is the starting and return point of this route of moderate difficulty. The route takes about 3 hours and a half and its main attraction is the Agrio reservoir. However, its hills and olive trees, and the transition of the landscape between the countryside and the Sierra de Sevilla are not to be missed.
In addition, you will reach the Tamujoso stream whose viewpoint offers spectacular views of the circuit. The residual contamination that comes from the runoff from the slag heaps results in the characteristic turquoise color of its waters.

Arroyo de las Cañas Trail
This circular trail starts and ends in El Pedroso and you can access it through Carretera de Cazalla street. It is a fairly easy route, about 3/4 hours, where you will come across the Arroyo de las Cañas, the main attraction of this route. If you follow the course of the water, you can reach the Ermita de Nuestra Señora del Espino, where the trail ends.
