Only a few days separate the appearance of the Herald and his procession from the arrival of the Three Wise Men in the city of Seville. On the eve of the most magical evening and night of the year, the Royal Herald arrives in the city to request the keys to Seville and thus facilitate the work of their Majesties in their delivery on January 5.
While it is true that the Herald is not able to gather as many people as the Three Kings attract, the eve is increasingly popular.
In 2026, therefore, it will take place on the afternoon of January 4, if the forecasts are favorable. Throughout the afternoon, Seville will be taking shape and gathering curious and curious to enjoy a small parade prior to the long-awaited evening.
Despite the modifications and the new itinerary, due to the works in the center, the tour will depart from the Ateneo de Sevilla and return to it. This 2026, the Sevillian businessman Sergio García Real will play the role of the Royal Herald of Seville.
He will be accompanied by pages and Bedouins in a recurring performance harmonized by the Agrupación Musical Virgen de los Reyes and the Banda de Cornetas y Tambores Sagrada Columna y Azotes (Las Cigarreras).

Where will the Heraldo and his cortege transit?
This year it will depart at 17:45 from the Ateneo de Sevilla following this route.
- Orfila, Javier Lasso de la Vega, Tarifa, Santa María de Gracia and Campana.
- It will continue along the central Sierpes, Sagasta until reaching the Plaza del Salvador.
- From here it runs along the streets Álvarez Quintero, Manuel Cortina and Francisco Bruna to end in the Plaza de San Francisco.
- It will follow the central streets Hernando Colón, Alemanes, Placentines and Plaza Virgen de los Reyes.
