A year ago, walking along Zaragoza street you could see two things: dust particles everywhere because of the works and a crowd of parishioners drinking beer and tapas around the Moraleja. This central street now looks renovated and this bar can celebrate that its little brother, in Nervión, is also another beer mecca. And to dishes as typical as the chicharrones (pork rinds) we must add “Moraleja”, the gourmet hamburger they have created together with La Pepa de Mazagón bar, which will be available for a limited time.
A recipe that is neither simple nor a competition for being bombastic. They say that “Moraleja” pays tribute to the philosophy of both establishments: quality product, bold flavor and personality.
The recipe in question is based on one of Moraleja’s star dishes, the Jarana -hot dog with caramelized chistorra sausage-.
What is the “Moraleja” hamburger like?
In this case, the burger encloses two national beef pattys, melted Parmesan cheese, crispy pepperoni and truffle mayonnaise. In addition, they include a unique sauce prepared with honey, caramelized chistorra and Jack Daniels. A chistorra sausage crowns this creation full of tasty toppings.
If Moraleja has forged its success as one of the best quality/price alternatives in the neighborhood of Nervión, La Pepa is one of the great alternatives offered by the coast of Huelva, in the Mazagón Public Park. So much so that in 2024 La Pepa was recognized with the award for the third best hamburger in Andalusia .
hamburger of Andalusia.
The “Moraleja” hamburger will be available for a limited time in both locations: at Avenida Santa Clara in Mazagón or at number 10 of Plaza Pintor Amalio García del Moral, in Seville.
This is a collaboration that “not only seeks to conquer palates, but also to strengthen the ties between two Andalusian gastronomy references that share the same vision: to do things with care, with style and always thinking about the customer’s experience”.
