Those who strolled this weekend (and last) by the Muelle de las Delicias or those who dropped by this event will know the popularity that has awakened Croqueta Crush. The first edition of the event was attended by 26,000 diners. After 6 days of competition and tastings, the festival shows that the best croquette of Seville is served in the Selva Negra restaurant.
At least that’s how the public made it known, whose votes have placed this recipe above the proposals of other spaces. This Tomares project competed with the traditional versions of Sal Gorda, La Bastarda, La Croqueta del Abuelo, Ojalá Tapas, Familia González, Restaurante Cinema or El Pantera Gastrobar.
The croqueta de caña de lomo en salsa de ibéricos is only one of the kinds of croquettes that Selva Negra elaborates in Selva Negra, which also offers croquettes (also boletus and truffle, angus, puchero,…). Up to 9 different recipes -they have their own croqueteria- are elaborated in this restaurant in the glorieta Fernando Quiñones.
These and other Mediterranean dishes diversify Selva Negra’s menu. From a chapter of pastas and risottos to a section where stews and scrambled eggs and tapas more typical of Andalusia prevail.
