The new call for Bono Alquiler Joven in Andalusia will be available from mid-January. The Consejería de Fomento, Articulación del territorio y vivienda is launching this aid amounting to 34.2 million euros aimed at young people between 18 and 35 years of age.
Applicants will be able to access a grant of 250 € per month to pay the rent of a room or a house in Andalusia. As in the previous call, those young people whose income is less than three times the IPREM (24,318 euros), four times if it is a family unit, will benefit.
What are the requirements to apply for the Bono Alquiler Joven?
This aid will be granted for rentals with a maximum limit of between 900 and 600 euros depending on the municipality and the type of contract.
Likewise, the maximum rent per room for the granting of these subsidies ranges between 380 and 300 euros.
In any case, the rent limit will not take into account other expenses that may be included in the contract, such as storage room, garage or community expenses.
The rented dwelling or room will constitute the habitual and permanent residence of the applicant during the eligible period and must be accredited by means of municipal registration. If it is a family unit, the certificate of collective census registration of the members of the family will be required.
What documentation is required?
In order to speed up the compendium of documents for the moment of requesting the aid, the Consejería de Fomento has published in its web a manual to solve all the doubts referring to the procedure.
According to the Junta de Andalucía, “the applicants will provide in the documentation a rental contract of the dwelling or assignment of use or a contract commitment signed by the lessor and the lessee that includes the essential conditions of the contract. In the case of partial leasing, if the contract does not state the participation quota, a responsible statement shall be provided.”
On the other hand, the call is set by order of non-competitive concurrence, that is, on a first-come, first-served basis and telematically. Specifically, through the Electronic Window of the Administration of the Junta de Andalucía (Veaja).
