Summer belongs to the Virgin of Carmen, and in Seville, following the triumphant river procession along the Guadalquivir this Wednesday, the festivities reach their peak on Sunday with the land procession. In this case, however, the schedule will be adjusted so that it does not coincide with the match.
Thus, the Brotherhood of the Virgin of Carmen of Calatrava has officially announced that the procession, originally scheduled for the afternoon, will be moved up.
On the recommendation of the authorities, in 2026 the people of Seville will be treated to an unusual morning of religious processions, with the procession set to begin at 10:00 a.m. In this case, the procession is expected to return at 2:00 p.m. The brotherhood made this announcement in a statement.

- The procession will depart at 10:00 a.m. from its chapel on Calatrava Street.
- The procession will follow a route through the Alameda de Hércules, Lumbreras, and Santa Clara (where it will make its traditional stop at the Monastery of San Clemente).
- The return procession will follow the route through Arte de la Seda, Lumbreras, Santa Clara, Santa Ana, and Jesús del Gran Poder, arriving at its church around 2:00 p.m.
