Music festivals held in quaint, secluded villages are attracting more and more interest than crowded urban events, which can drive up the cost of transportation and hotels. A return to our roots that highlights the charm of small towns, their cuisine, music, and crafts isthe JARA festival, which celebrates its third edition on June 12 and 13
There’s a phrase that has already become the mantra of the summer for those seeking authentic experiences: We dance in the pueblo.
Music, cuisine, art, and sustainability in the open air. Because JARA brings together four concepts: fun, art, rural life, and Andalusian culture in various spots around the village, such as the castle, the plaza, and the riverbank.

The event returns in 2026 to demonstrate, for the third consecutive year, that rural settings are the new epicenter of contemporary culture.
Organized by NOON Culture, this massive festival isn’t just about music; it’s a collective experience where the town’s residents, city clubbers, and the natural landscape of the Sierra Norte de Sevilla all dance to the same beat.
From breakbeat to techno: a lineup with identity and roots
This year’s lineup perfectly balances established talent and fresh emerging artists.
More than thirty artists will travel to El Real de la Jarato bring their music to this unique festival.
Artists such as Seville-based Dalila, the queen of Andalusian breakbeat ; the Extremadura duo Gameboyz; the immersive sounds of Miguel Payda; Perro Andaluz; and the collectives Alien by Cosmos Club, Anunnaki’s Club, and Arise Music.
Jara, the stage is the village: cuisine and workshops

What makes JARA truly unique is how the festival integrates into the village’s daily life. Here, the stage can be a town square, the riverbank, or the grounds of a medieval castle.
Namely: authentic flavors of the Sierra Norte, workshops and creative activities, free children’s activities,…
Camper zone, bus from Seville, and tickets: everything you need to know

In addition, a camper zone has been set up—a space surrounded by nature designed to make the most of the rural setting all weekend long.
The festival is committed to zero waste, recycled materials, and absolute respect for the natural environment that hosts it.
At JARA, culture transcends the borders of El Real de la Jara to unite the entire region.
Tickets—starting at €35—are now available through NOON Culture’s official channels.
In addition, they’re offering a bus for anyone interested that departs from Seville on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and returns on Sunday at 6:00 a.m., after the festivities at the castle have ended.
