All generations are equally drawn to craftsmanship and its various forms. Seville is witnessing a proliferation of spaces and a demand that goes beyond the usual neighborhood workshops. Ceramics is in its heyday—and it makes sense, given the capital’s well-known pottery tradition—but other disciplines are following suit, sparking interest among locals. So, we’ve compiled a list of interesting workshops, studios, monographic courses, and other activities that are part of this artisanal revolution in Seville.
Alternatives to escape the digital noise, but especially to connect with creativity, the present, and the tangible.
Clay and Wine at Espacio Furia

Between Avenida de Llanes and Carretera de Carmona lies one of the most interesting and vibrant spots in the Macarena neighborhood. Espacio Furia hosts a wide variety of activities designed to inspire us, create, and experiment.
Additionally, and as a special treat, they host “clay and wine” sessions once a month. This is a workshop where hand-modeling clay is paired with a glass of wine. You’ll be able to create your own ceramic pieces under the guidance of Verónica Piras and La Zanini.
The goal, far from seeking technical perfection, is to immerse oneself in this discipline and share a moment of creativity.
Following the success of their first workshops, they have announced dates for this spring on May 15 at their location in Seville.
For more information or to sign up, you can send a direct message via Instagram or email: barroyvino.furia@gmail.com.

Following the same logic, they organize other events such as the embroidery workshop held on February 22 or FuriaFest, a festival that combines exhibitions, workshops, talks, and concerts. This year, it will take place in September.
In addition to this event, there are the ceramics classes regularly offered at the @mme_zanini and @soy.solita studios, as well as macramé classes with Ania, for both adults and children.

Cabinetmaker Isabelle Pradas and chef Pepa Santos (diezmesas) are behind Anclaje, creative retreats in the Sierra de Aracena and other experiences focused on craftsmanship and mindful eating.
In fact, on May 24, they’ve organized a creative workshop where you can transform your footwear. Throughout the day, you’ll be able to create your own new sandals using sneakers you no longer wear or that are broken.
No prior experience is required, and the experience includes all materials, a picnic featuring homemade Mediterranean cuisine, and a dip in the Sierra de Aracena.
A meeting place surrounded by nature to delve into craftsmanship, mindful eating, and relaxation.
Classes begin at 11:00 a.m.; you can find all the detailed information on their social media.
Pottery course and workshops on clay at Espacio Barrö

Of the ceramics workshops that dot the streets of Seville, that of sculptor and potter Raquel Eidem is perhaps one of the oldest. Espacio Bärro is located in the heart of the city, near Las Setas, La Alfalfa, and Plaza Cristo de Burgos.
With more than a decade of sharing their knowledge, Raquel (and Ana) offer their teachings in an atmosphere that is always relaxed and creative.
No experience is required to participate in the classes. Each group brings together seasoned students capable of creating extraordinary pieces alongside brand-new members of this pottery family.
Every process takes time, and Espacio Bärro is a place that invites leisurely learning.
In any case, they offer specialized courses, intensive introductory workshops, and special courses, such as the one taught by José María Mariscal on February 21 and 22.
Furniture Design and Construction Course at T11

In a quiet corner of Castellar, near the lively Plaza de San Marcos, sits T11, a unique project housed in Seville’s former Hat Factory.
This 19th-century building houses various spaces dedicated to promoting and revitalizing woodworking crafts. It features a coworking space, a 300-square-meter carpentry workshop, and a multipurpose classroom available for rent.

San Luis, still a neighborhood, and this enclave that is a living memory and which, finally, has belonged to the public since 2018. Likewise, T11 offers an annual professional course for those who want to delve deeper into woodworking.
Their website states , “from the sketch and technical design to the actual manufacture of the furniture. It is the place where sawdust and industrial design come together.”
Polymer clay jewelry or candle-making workshop at Mirian Picón Espacio Creativo

San Lorenzo escapes the hustle and bustle of the Arenal and feels a bit less like downtown. In its squares and alleyways, you can feel the bustle of daily life: musicians gathering in front of the conservatory, the usual bars serving the usual fare, and San Vicente as lively as the participants signing up for the workshops at Mirian Picón’s Espacio Creativo.
Just a few steps from Plaza de San Lorenzo, this initiative opened over a year ago, putting craftsmanship front and center.
The artist exhibits her own work, as well as that of other creators, and leads a variety of workshops across different disciplines. An almost therapeutic exercise where people can gather, work with their hands, and breathe life into this neighborhood that is trying to resist the onslaught of gentrification.
Workshops for children and adults, including soy candle making, flower pressing, watercolor geometry, a jewelry setting workshop, and a creative polymer clay jewelry workshop, taught by Serralbo Designer.
A guide for students to create their own pieces, covering the handling of the material, color, and firing of this lightweight and versatile medium.
It posts the monthly calendar of activities and prices on its social media, which typically range from 45 to 48 euros.
Taller Virgen: classes or intensive courses

Taller Virgen is located in the labyrinthine passageways within the Feria-Relator-San Luis and Castellar area. You don’t need prior experience to sign up for its courses, where you’ll learn techniques and exercises to create personal pieces, whether through hand-building or wheel-throwing. The monthly fee for these courses ranges from €70 to €80.
On the other hand, on Fridays they offer a one-time class from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM to get started in pottery, paint pieces, or create a mug. Three hours to enjoy any of these activities without having to attend weekly classes.
In addition, this bastion of clay also offers intensive, themed workshops on Saturdays. Such as the popular workshops on lamp-making, tableware design, or candlestick-making —all without leaving the walls of downtown Seville. They last 4 hours, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the creative process.
Vicente and Virginia have the ability to turn this small space into a cozy creative haven for pure relaxation.

In this space, which has been a huge success in Madrid, the pleasure of enjoying a cup of coffee or a slice of cake is combined with the delicacy of ceramics and painting.
A creative afternoon without complications and without spending a lot of money. You’ll find Mama Pottery between Plaza Nueva and La Magdalena. Its menu includes coffees, specialty drinks like its seasonal turmeric latte, juices, wines, teas, slices of cake, cookies, and other sweet treats.
The menu also includes brushes and glazes. You pay for the ceramic piece you choose and your drink, and you can spend the afternoon painting at your own pace. Mama Pottery will fire your piece so you can pick it up a few days later, ready to use.
