The new Netflix miniseries by Álex de la Iglesia and screenwriter Jorge Guerricaechevarría already has a premiere date. This was announced by the streaming platform on October 31. ‘1992’ is the Basque director’s thriller that takes place in Seville and revolves around a serial killer who repeats the pattern of burning his victims and leaving a Curro doll next to them.
This small screen production, scripted by Pablo Tébar and Jorge Valdano, will feature six 50-minute episodes.
Fernando Valdivielso (Fanático) and Marian Álvarez (La herida, La unidad) star in this series whose cast is completed by Paz Vega (Lucía y el sexo) and Carlos Santos (El hombre de las mil caras), among others.
Filmed in Seville and Madrid throughout the summer of 2023, it held several castings for extras and extras, which were attended by hundreds of interested parties.

Regarding the release date, ‘1992’ will be available to watch in full on Netflix from next December 13.
