It is typical for towns to schedule festivals throughout the spring to make the most of one of the liveliest and sunniest seasons of the year. With Holy Week and the April Fair behind us, it’s the province’s turn to adorn its towns with traditional festivals, events, medieval fairs, or themed markets. Thus, from May 8 to 10, 2026, Badolatosa will celebrate its 9th Tapas Route and Bandolero Market.
An event that blends the flavors of the land with the rebellious spirit of the ancient Andalusian trails.
What awaits you at the Bandolero Market?
For three days, Avenida de Cuba and its surroundings will be filled with artisans, parades, and an atmosphere that recreates life in the 18th and 19th centuries. A journey through time whose main attractions are:
- Tapas Route. The perfect opportunity to sample local cuisine with a touch of history.
- Badorock Concerts: live music to liven up the weekend nights.
- Family-friendly activities, including guided tours, children’s workshops, and spectacular falconry displays.
- And the usual guided tours featuring skits that recount the legends of the bandits and smugglers who once roamed these mountains.
Schedule from Friday to Sunday
To make sure you don’t miss a thing, take note of the key times that will be repeated throughout the event.
- At 10:00 a.m., visitors will be welcomed by local guides.
- Guided tour of the town with live theater at 10:30 a.m.

A boost for tourism in the Sierra Sur
With this ninth edition, Badolatosa seeks not only to entertain but also to establish itself as a leading destination for experiential tourism in Seville.
The combination of history, gastronomy, and the Badorock concert series makes this town the ideal destination for those seeking more than just a simple day trip.
Beyond this event, which draws hundreds of visitors, the town is worth visiting for its views of the Genil River, the caves that sheltered the famous bandit and his gang, hiking, and kayaking on its reservoirs.
