News about the fall is proliferating in the midst of a heat wave, offering a preview of the plans to come. The Antique Book Fair and the world premiere of *El Fauno Encendido* in the Patio de la Montería at the Real Alcázar in Seville.
Livemusic, opera, and dance come together at this iconic monument, with free admission for Sevillians.
This is how Mayor José Luis Sanz presented this ambitious symphonic ballet production, which originated in Seville and can be enjoyed on October 16 and 17, before it embarks on a tour of national and international stages.

A 100% Sevillian production set to conquer the world’s greatest stages
*El Fauno Encendido* brings to life the work of Sevillian writer Francisco Infantes Florido (included in his book *A Escena*), a poetic story conceived from the outset to be danced.
Behind this 100% Sevillian production—promoted by Pasarela S.L. with the aim of touring international stages—is a top-tier creative team.
Notably: composer Manuel Marvizón for the original music, renowned flamenco dancer Sergio Bernal as choreographer, and prominent figures such as flamenco dancer Eva Yerbabuena as stage consultant and José Antonio Francés as dramaturg.
The cast features Sevillian soprano Rocío Ignacio, Cuban tenor Andrés Sánchez Joglar, Granada-born soprano Esperanza Garrido, the Choir of the Asociación Amigos del Teatro de la Maestranza, and the Málaga Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Francisco Javier Gutiérrez Juan.
This premiere will also serve as the Real Alcázar’s first major tribute to commemorate the centennial of the Generation of ’27, adding Infantes Florido to the Paseo de los Poetas alongside figures such as Luis Cernuda and Ignacio Sánchez Mejías.

As the mayor noted, Sevillians will be able to enjoy this unique experience in the Patio de la Montería completely free of charge.
Tickets can be picked up at the box office at the Real Alcázar itself during the week of the performance, during its regular opening hours.
