These and other items, along witha full cultural program, will come together at theSeville Antique Book Fair. One of Andalusia’s most important antiquarian book fairs will celebrate its 49th edition fromSeptember 25 to October 18, 2026.
Under the slogan “Old Books, New Stories,” this long-standing literary event will bring together some twenty exhibitors from across the country in the Plaza de San Francisco.
For more than three weeks, the heart of the city will become the perfect haven for collectors, bibliophiles, and curious visitors on the hunt for classics, maps, lithographs, comic books, and first editions at bargain prices.

An “ecotopic” poster to dream of a different Seville
The artist responsible for designing this year’s poster is the renowned Sevillian cartoonist and illustrator Miguel Brieva. With his characteristic critical and imaginative style, Brieva has designed a poster based on the idea of an “ecotopic” Seville—a dialogue between the past and the future where nature and culture gain ground over concrete. International Master of Ceremonies: Héctor Abad Faciolince
The official kickoff will take place on Thursday, September 24, at 8:00 p.m. at the Círculo Mercantil. The acclaimed Colombian writer Héctor Abad Faciolince, author of contemporary masterpieces such as *El olvido que seremos* and *Tratado de culinaria para mujeres tristes*, will deliver the opening address. In this regard, the Seville City Council’s Culture Delegate emphasized:

In addition to the thousands of volumes awaiting new owners at the booths, this fall’s Antique Book Fair will place even greater emphasis on experiential activities. The organizers have announced a program of free side events that will include meetings, informative talks, and multidisciplinary activities for all audiences right in the heart of the historic center.
