Two weeks after the DANA that devastated the Valencian Community, the worst flooding recorded in decades, the work of cleaning up, searching for missing people and recomposition of public roads continues. The losses, affecting millions of citizens, are incalculable.
In the light of the catastrophe, a wave of solidarity has burst forth from all corners of the country. Financial donations and shipments of supplies and basic necessities, as well as cleaning materials and protective equipment. In addition to the invaluable help provided by neighborhood associations and public institutions, restaurants in Seville collaborated with a solidarity dish whose profits would go to World Central Kitchen in Valencia or the programming of solidarity concerts.
In the same way, Lady Drama Café Teatro will celebrate ‘Songs for Valencia’. A charity event that will take place on Sunday, November 17 from 6:30 pm.
The event will host the musicians Chiqui Calderón, Virginia Maestro, Verano Cruel, Pinocho Detective, Chencho Fernández, Zico, Pablo Cuevas, Pedro Jiménez and Álvaro Suite.
Tickets, which can be purchased at this link, are priced at 12 € and 100% of the proceeds will be donated. In any case, the tiquetera assumes the management costs.
