Netflix has announced a fictional miniseries inspired by the case of Marta del Castillo, which will begin filming in Seville soon.
Bambú Producciones is behind this project in collaboration with La Claqueta PC and the family of Marta del Castillo. In any case, the series in question does not yet have a title, and neither the creative team nor the cast are known.
The production company, which made a name for itself with ‘El caso Asunta’ and launched the careers of Candela Peña and Tristán Ulloa, is now turning its attention to this case that shocked society in 2009.
It is known that the platform already took on the case with the 2021 docuseries¿Dónde está Marta? (Where is Marta?), which analyzes the investigation of this unsolved case that continues to shock the public.
