The new Seville – Madrid connection will be launched in just a couple of weeks, expanding the high-speed offer between the two cities, which so far has been provided by Renfe and Iryo.
It will not be until September 26 that the specific dates will be revealed, although Ouigo has announced that it will also connect Cordoba or Malaga with Barcelona without the need for a transfer.
Both routes, which will start operating on December 15, 2024, will dispense a daily journey from each city. Specifically, the train will depart at 11:50 a.m. from Barcelona and at 11:35 a.m. from Málaga and will last 5 hours and 50 minutes.
As stated in its pricing policy, Ouigo tickets start from €9 (with a flat rate of €7 for children up to 13 years old). In any case, the new route will offer a promotional price of 24 € to travel in the month of December, compared to more than 60 euros that costs the same route with other companies.
