This tour, organized by the Cathedral Chapter, literally unveils the inner workings of Seville’s cathedral—its most authentic, secret, and spectacular spaces —allowing visitors to admire its grandeur from above. Starting May 1, this guided tour will resume its evening sessions, offering tours at dusk to ascend to the cathedral’s rooftops.
This activity joins the summer offerings also proposed by the Real Alcázar, such as the musical program of its “Noches del Alcázar” and the dramatized tours at sunset.
What does the tour involve?
Visitors will ascend through the cathedral’s framework to three different levels on its rooftops. Throughout the tour, the guide will provide insights into the construction of this Gothic cathedral, the largest in all of Europe.
A journey through time guided by the principal architects of this magnificent building: architects, stonemasons, and bricklayers.
As the Cathedral Chapter itself notes: “This is a unique opportunity to learn, from above, about the history of the construction of this magnificent Gothic building.”

Schedules and prices: where to buy tickets
The cathedral’s rooftops can now be visited at sunset. A daily tour runs Monday through Sunday at 9:00 p.m., with some exceptions. These schedules will remain in effect through September.
Both tours are available in Spanish, English, and French (though it’s recommended to check availability in advance).
In any case, for the time being, one of the daytime tours of the rooftops will continue to be offered at 9:30 a.m.
Tickets, priced at 20 euros, can be purchased on the monument’s official website or at the ticket office, with a 1-euro surcharge for on-site purchases.
