The Guimerá Theater of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has been the stage chosen for the gala of the Soles of the Repsol Guide this Monday, March 17. An event that brings together the great figures of the gastronomic universe at national level and recognizes those restaurants that ooze cuisine and talent. This edition, the Sevillian restaurants Leartá and Ochando have been awarded their first Sol Repsol.
In Andalusia, 10 new distinctions have been added, with special mention to the 3 Repsol Suns achieved by Bagá, the flagship of Jaén’s gastronomy, with Pedro Sánchez at the helm. There are now 77 Andalusian restaurants with the recognition of the Soles.
Leartá
Manu Lachica and Rita Llanes run Leartá, this powerful project in the gastronomic mile of Seville that combines haute cuisine and the essence of Andalusian recipes.
Leartá decrees an experience of collection, with a unique tasting menu that revisits the tradition giving it avant-garde and is renewed every season.
Ochando, gastronomic getaway
Chef Juan Carlos Ochando and Elena Pérez, the restaurant’s head waiter, have defined Tocina (Los Rosales) as a place to visit, in addition to their proposal in Ochando.
In this small town in Seville, 40 kilometers from the capital, the roots of the region are embodied without neglecting contemporaneity.
The diner can order a la carte or surrender to any of its two tasting menus, affordable experiences below 70 euros.
