It’s official: U2 will return to Seville and perform a concert at La Cartuja Stadium in 2027. The Irish band is returning to the Andalusian capital seventeen years after their historic visit as part of the 360° Tour in 2010.
The band—led by Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr.—is returning to major stadiums for its ambitious world tour, “Carnaval De Luz presents: The Greatest Show On Earth.”
They will celebrate half a century on stage and present their sixteenth studio album, *Carnaval de Luz*, their first in nine years, scheduled for release on November 13. The tour will kick off in Stockholm this coming April and will make stops in Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, and Milan.
Beyond Europe, and months earlier, U2 will arrive in Mexico City, São Paulo, and Buenos Aires.
Tour dates in Spain
The date for the Andalusian capital falls right in the middle of the European spring:
- Seville: May 22, 2027, at La Cartuja Stadium.
- The additional dates in Spain are May 13 and 15, 2027, in Barcelona.
Pre-sale and general admission ticket schedule
For the European leg of the tour, Live Nation and the official U2 fan club have established a phased ticket sales schedule in four stages throughout this week.
However, in Spain, fans have had to wait a few more days. Thus, the presale will begin next Monday, November 9, at 10:00 a.m.
- Monday, November 9, at 10:00 a.m.: presale for U2.com subscribers (Feedback Group), through the 11th at 10:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, November 10, 10:00 a.m.: presale for new U2.com subscribers (Hype Group).
- Wednesday, November 11, 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.: presale for album buyers and Visa presale.
- General ticket sales are set for Friday, November 13, at the same time
Tickets will be available through U2’s official websites as well as on the Ticketmaster and Live Nation platforms.
How to get tickets
- Tickets will be sold primarily through the official Ticketmaster and Live Nation Spain platforms. We recommend avoiding unauthorized resale channels. For presales on U2.com, the email address associated with your account must match the one used for your subscription.
- Pre-registration. Log in to your account on the ticketing platform in advance and verify that your personal information and payment methods are up to date before 10:00 a.m.
- Join the virtual line at least 15 to 20 minutes before the opening time. Keep only one tab open and avoid refreshing the browser once your spot has been assigned.
