The Barenboim-Said Andalusian Public Foundation, affiliated with the Regional Ministry of Culture and Sports, offers free concerts in the chapel of the Palacio de San Telmo. This is the 13th edition of the San Telmo Abierto music series, which began on Friday, March 20, and runs through May 29.
This intimate venue, rich in history and heritage, hosts a concert organized by the foundationevery Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Students from the Academy of Orchestral Studies, one of the organization’s main projects, will present different instrumental ensembles with a repertoire that changes weekly.
Unique recitals that enrich Seville’s cultural calendar with powerful cultural content in this jewel of Sevillian Baroque architecture.
Since 2013, more than 9,000 people have enjoyed the nearly one hundred concerts held in this setting, restored by the Andalusian Institute of Historical Heritage (IAPH).
How to purchase tickets for San Telmo Abierto
Although the concerts are open to the public and free of charge, advance reservations are required through the Barenboim-Said Foundation website.
Specifically, registration opens every Monday at 10:00 a.m. for the Friday concert of that week. Invitations will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis until the venue reaches capacity.
Concert dates are subject to change due to institutional needs.

March 20, 2026: Piano recital featuring works by Bach, Mozart, Brahms, Debussy, Chopin, and Prokofiev.
April 10, 2026: Wind Quintet with Piano in E-flat Major, Opus 16 by Ludwig van Beethoven, and Piano Trio No. 2 in E Minor, Opus 67 by Dmitri Shostakovich.
April 17, 2026: Divertimento in C major, Op. 20, No. 2, Hob III: 32 by Franz Joseph Haydn and String Quartet No. 1 in E-flat major, Op. 12 by Felix Mendelssohn.
The month of May will close this series with four concerts:
May 8, 2026: Wind Quintet No. 1 by Jean Françaix and Six Bagatelles for Wind Quintet by György Ligeti.
May 15, 2026: Piano Quintet in A Major, D. 667, Opus Post. 114, “The Trout” by Franz Schubert.
May 22, 2026: String Quintet in G Major, Opus 77 by Antonín Dvořák.
May 29, 2026: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Wind Quintet with Piano in E-flat Major, K. 452, and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence, Op. 70.
