The exhibition, free of charge, brings together 200 original pieces, plastic works, photographs, unpublished texts, manuscripts and personal items. Many of these objects had not been shown to the public until now and reveal the childhood, youth and expertise throughout the Second Republic and the Spanish Civil War.
The material belongs to the Real Academia Burgense de Historia y Bellas Artes and to the Unicaja Foundation’s collection. The Machados. Retrato de familia has the collaboration of the Real Academia Sevillana de Buenas Letras, the University of Seville and the Hemeroteca Municipal.
