In this vortex that is Istanbul, traces of its heterogeneous history remain imbricated. One of the most fascinating capitals in the world and well worth a visit. The good news is that daily flights have been added to the connection that Seville and Istanbul opened last September.
José Luis Sanz, Mayor of Seville and Güliz Öztürk, CEO of Pegasus Airlines, announced this Tuesday. A move that will continue to link both cities allowing new strategies in the tourism, business and aeronautical industry, engineering and technology sectors.
In fact, since the launch of this route with weekly flights last fall, passenger traffic between Seville and Istanbul has increased by 244%.
Sanz stressed that “this flight is not only a link between two destinations; it is a gateway to Asia and the rest of the world through the Istanbul hub. Air connectivity is key to the development of tourism, industry and trade.”
“Seville is a growing city, with a dynamic business fabric and great opportunities in strategic sectors. We want to continue strengthening our ties with Turkey and attract investments that generate employment and economic development for both cities,” concluded Sanz.
