
The capital of Seville prepares to see its streets adorned with passion. However, before the images, cults, processions and devotees flood the city, Seville offers a large number of brotherhood exhibitions during Lent.
Sensorial and photographic exhibitions, objects of great historical value and small-format recreations await in the city that you can enjoy before Holy Week.
1. Cofrade Photographic Exhibition
You don’t have to go far from the Plaza de San Francisco to discover another of the cofrades exhibitions this 2025 in Seville.
In this case, the CaixaBank store in Sierpes celebrates the IIX edition of this sample brings together snapshots of José Luis Montero. The journalist of the Diario de Sevilla collects about thirty images around the Holy Week in the courtyard of the entity.
It can be visited during office opening hours (from 9:00 to 18:00 hours, Friday until 14:00 hours) until Holy Wednesday.
2. ‘Soul and Passion’.
The Pavilion of the Navigation of the Cartuja adds its exhibition spaces to host another of Seville’s brotherhood exhibitions. You have to go to the other side of the river to enjoy this sesorial experience, ‘Soul and Passion’.
Specifically, it brings together some of the most emblematic moments of Holy Week in Seville in whose environment they have recreated this magical week in Ultra High Definition.
📅 Until April 20, Monday to Thursday (and Sundays), from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00. Fridays and Saturdays until 22:00 hours.
3. ‘From sketch to glory. The Journey of Sacred Art’.
And already in Triana, the Castle of San Jorge hosts this exhibition by the Guild Association of Sacred Art of Seville. The interpretation center of the Inquisition opens this museum space for an exhibition in which more than 30 Andalusian and national brotherhoods have participated.
Pieces of more than 60 artisans and workshops are exhibited as well as donations among which stand out the old bambalina of the Macarena or the diadem of the Virgen de la Estrella.
