Orzáez is a surname that in Seville embodies all things cheese. Experts in the production of artisanal cheeses in Andalusia, market-fresh cuisine, sustainability, and, in short, the guardians of a family business that needs no further praise or lavish photos.

At their lovely shop on Calle Betis—which boasts one of the most beautiful views of Seville’s historic riverfront—they serve dreamy breakfasts and meals with cheese at the heart of the experience.
From the original Mare Nostrum to its first small shops, Casa Orzáez has evolved into a space dedicated to exceptional culinary experiences.
Following this logic, Casa Orzáez has conceived its Pasta Week, an initiative centered on pasta from May 7 to 10, led by Italian chef Alessandra Lauria.
The renowned chef, who boasts an extensive international career with projects such as Casa Lawa and the Milan Design Week in collaboration with IKEA, uses pasta as a starting point to foster gatherings around the table. She is also the founder of the social project Smile and Make Pasta.
Four days with a taste of Sicily and Andalusia at Casa Orzáez
To the raw-milk cheeses, ferments, sourdough breads, and other seasonal products, this week we must add the pasta experiences promised by Alessandra Lauria’s residence.
And the fact is, beyond the dinners that can be enjoyed throughout these days, the concept is presented as a whole: “cooking, sharing, and sitting down at the table as a way of connecting—with the product and with others.”
Pasta Week schedule and prices
On the one hand, the evenings of May 7, 8, and 9 will be dedicated to dinners featuring a seasonal menu. A tasting experience where fresh, handmade pasta guides a journey that combines local ingredients with a contemporary take on tradition. Dinners will be served at 9:00 p.m. and are priced at €65 per person.
Also, on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., there will be an immersive workshop focused on the technique and artistry of dough, culminating in an aperitif on the terrace (€55).
To wrap things up, on Sunday the 10th at 11:00 a.m., Il Pranzo della Nonna is hosting a long table designed for sharing and bidding farewell to the residence. The price is €85.
All experiences, which can be purchased separately, require advance payment, either on-site at the location or via bank transfer.
